“we went for Sunday brunch. .Our server Ashley(?) was fantastic! Did a great job describing the menu. Made everything sound delicious. This was our first visit there. Our food was fantastic! There were four of us, we had the Meatloaf Benedict eggs Benedict, Cajun shrimp omelette and the smashburger. we all sampled each other's food. Everything was so very good! We enjoyed ourselves so much that we went ahead and made a reservation for the following Friday evening dinner. Can't wait to go back!!!“

The owner, Nelson, made sure we knew how much they cared about making an affordable and safe GF dining experience. Loved the ambience and the food; the burger was one of the best I've ever had and the gf bun was soooo fluffy! They give you a FREE cookie at the end and the gf cookie was actually soft and not crumbly. I cried a little I was so excited. I will be back!“

“First time here and at first glance we thought this place was misleading (it’s inside a Raw Bar). This place was awesome. The service was amazing and the food was top notch. We had the calamari that had a balsamic glaze which I have never had in calamari before but to my surprise it was amazingly delicious. Next I had the salmon. If you are not a mushroom lover I would not recommend but since I am it was sooooo delish. The salmon melted like butter. The green beans were also cooked to perfection. My favorite part of the whole night was the crème brûlée….honnneeyyyyy it was out of this world. I wish it came in a large size(that’s cause I’m greedy but it was oh so good!! The wine selection and drinks were also very good. Overall, we had an excellent night. I would recommend this place 👍🏽 we will be going back soon.“

“As guests of the motel upstairs, it was awesome to find out that there was not only on site dining but live music for both nights of our stay. “I’m pretty sure it is under new management. Whenever I stop there for breakfast to get my liver mush, egg, cheese, slice of tomato on a bun, it is always delicious. Service is fast, everyone behind the counter is always friendly even when they are busy. On Wednesdays they offer choices of fish sandwich or fish combo plates that are reasonably priced and will satisfy your appetite. I definitely recommend if you are in the area.“

“I love my neighborhood Culver's in Mooresville (it's the closest to where I live). This restaurant has one of the best fish sandwiches I've ever eaten! Culver's is counter services but a step up from other chain fast food. This location is clean, with good service and excellent food. Kudos to the manager.“

“Wow! My hunt for the best Smash Burger in North Carolina has ended. Monday night is half price smash burgers , the freedom burger is my favorite, and they donate $1for each burger sold to the Freedom Fund which helps veterans tremendously ! This scratch kitchen sports tavern is fantastic. 48 giant televisions and a giant HD projector makes this an ideal place to watch your favorite sporting event! Especially the Super Bowl! They are giving away prizes each quarter of the game and a lucky guest will win free wings for a year, and wow the wings are phenomenal. The service is consistently excellent, and they have food and drink specials , and an excellent draft beer selection. What an amazing dining destination!

“This was the best Bistro experience of any Courtyard I’ve ever stayed in! Tara and the whole staff were so incredibly nice and accommodating. There is a wide variety of seating as well as an additional lounge next to it. I stayed here for a long weekend and going to the Bistro every morning was definitely the highlight of my stay.“

“This is the second year we hosted our neighborhood holiday party at Shoals Grill. They have updated the private party room which was a nice surprise. We had a group of 50 people and the service and food was great. Andrew, the event manager, and our bartender were very accommodating and responsive to our needs. Mama Katie’s is hands down one of the best breakfast spots I’ve been to in a long time. It has that perfect blend of homestyle cooking and diner-style comfort that’s hard to find in the Cornelius area. We actually drove out here because there just aren’t any true diners nearby, and it was absolutely worth it.

I ordered the Backwoods Benedict — a biscuit with sausage, poached egg, and country gravy on top (you get two of them) — and it was amazing. I also got hash browns with onions and cheese added, and they were cooked perfectly. The French toast was delicious, my girlfriend’s omelet was great, and everything tasted fresh and hearty. The bacon was probably the weakest part of the meal (about a 6.5/10), but it was still decent. Everything else was easily an 8–9/10.

The portions are generous — one of those meals where you clean your plate and then want to go home and nap. The service was friendly and attentive, about an 8/10, and the overall experience was easily a solid 9/10. Prices were very reasonable for the amount of food we got.

The outside doesn’t look like much (it’s in what looks like an office-style building), so don’t let that fool you. Once you’re inside, the food and atmosphere definitely give you that family-style, diner feel.

If you’re looking for hearty, delicious breakfast food that feels like home, Mama Katie’s is the place. We’ll definitely be coming back, and I’d recommend it to anyone who wants that diner-style comfort without having to drive too far.“

Gm Kellen and bar manager Sam were so down to earth and made the entire experience! however I then got the food, I got a burger, pretzel rods and even ordered a pizza to go. I think it’s the best burger hands down I’ve ever had, pizza was perfect size and full of flavor.
