Davesté Vineyards Wineries • $$
155 Lytton Farm Rd, Troutman

“I had my 50th Birthday party there and it was amazing. The venue was charming, had a great atmosphere and the rental price was affordable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The view is like something out of a movie!! We took several pictures and when I show them to people they always ask, "Where was this taken?" We tasted different types of wine and the white wines were great. Nothing against the reds but I prefer white. We had the party catered and they set up right outside the venue, so our food was easily accessible. The food was good and the cooks were friendly. Overall, I highly recommend stopping by and making memories of your own.“

Jolly Roger Brewery Brewery • $
236 Raceway Dr #12, Mooresville - 7.99 miles

“JollyRoger Brewing Co, which is a great lil hole in the wall microbrewery with not only good beer, but a lot of character! And, while small in size, it was big in thematic decor...half the fun of going through the beers on your flightboard is exploring all the cool "pirate-themed" tchotchkes. If "you work like a captain, but drink like a pirate" then this is your spot!Beers had here: Pirates Gold Blonde 5.7% Barbarossa Imperial Red 8.3% IPAtch DIPA 7.5% Blackbeard Ukranian Imperial Stout 8.5%“

Hoptown Brewing Company Brewery • $$
107 Plantation Ridge Dr, Mooresville - 7.82 miles

“Hoptown hosted us for my wife’s birthday party. From beginning to end the service was exceptional. During the event we had ample seating reserved as well as an area for dinner and cake to be set. The staff made sure we did not have to come to the bar to order and made it a point to help us clean up at the end of the night. We will definitely be coming back for future parties not to mention weekend beers!!Thanks for being a part of our special night :)“

“My wife our dog Ward and I had the best time ever lastnight! First off as soon as we came in we were warmly greeted and Joe the owner got us a few samples. Darren the bartender was awesome! All the beer was wonderful! I love stouts and everyone I had was great, it’s so hard finding a brewery that has such a great range of good beer. This brewery is a local treasure! I can’t wait to return cause they make you feel like family. I work about 70 hours a week so when I do get a day off I try to have as much fun as possible and this place delivered!“

“Hidden gem on Lake Norman! ? I can say that I have not had a beer here that I wouldn’t order a pint (or multiple pints) of. Everything is absolutely delicious. Beer making geniuses! Ghostface Brewing Brewery & Pizzeria Brewery • $$
215 S Broad St, Mooresville - 9.2 miles

“The Hubs and I really like this place. We usually get the pretzel bites and a pizza. The pretzel bites are *chef's kiss* perfect. And the pizza is always great. I don't normally eat the crust of any pizza, but these guys have really good dough. We've been here several times and are never disappointed by the service. They're always very friendly. They were having a St. Patty's Day celebration when we went yesterday, and they were absolutely slammed on both the brewery and pizzeria sides. And still, they were attentive.I saw someone in the reviews complaining about the garlic truffle fries, so if you're planning on ordering those, you should know that they do come with a generous amount of truffle oil. That's the truffle part of the truffle fries. They are tasty, but maybe a bit oily for some. So, set your expectations accordingly. The one thing I'd say is that I wish they had better beers. That's pretty subjective, of course, since everyone has different preferences. But, for us, they're just a bit underwhelming. But, despite that, this place is still a 5 star place.“
