“Was feeling hungry and didn't have time to cook so I ordered from here for the first time. The online ordering was fast and easy to do, when I got there the food came out earlier than promised, and the staff was super friendly! After trying the food I realized I had to leave a review, because this is the best food from a Chinese restaurant I've ever had. Fast, friendly, delicious!

Dietary restrictions: While I didn't order anything from the diet menu, I was impressed they had low sodium and non oily options for those that need them.“

“I came here on a Friday as a party of 1. There was a decent crowd, but I was still able to be sat down right away. The place is small so if things do get busy, it will fill up fast. The tables come with paper on top which was I thought was interesting. I ordered a sweet tea, crab rangoon and the sesame chicken. When they brought me my sweet tea, they also brought napkins and chopsticks. The sweet tea has more of a tea flavor and I personally prefer it sweeter to dull the tea flavor more. I placed my order around 12pm and it took less than 5 minutes for my appetizer of crab rangoon to come out. It was fresh and hot. It came with 8 crab rangoons and they were okay. I have had others that I prefer over these ones.
My chicken and white rice came out in about 6 minutes. I was very impressed with the timeliness. The chicken was good and I did like the pieces were not large. The white rice was average and I would have preferred sticky rice. I will say that I went with food that I am familiar with and would be open to come back and try something on the menu I have not had before. Overall a positive experience and I had leftovers to bring home to eat later.“

“My experience at Jade Garden Chinese restaurant was simply outstanding! The food was exquisite, especially the sesame chicken—it was hands down the best I've ever had. The service was equally exceptional; the lady at the counter was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Without a doubt, this is now my go-to spot for Chinese cuisine in Winston Salem. “This was our second time eating here. Both times the service was a little off. Items ordered but not delivered even after asking again. Celebrations happen very frequently. An average of four times during both of our visits. The celebrations are done with a giant firework lit at the table (not ours but all around us). The smoke in the air from all those fireworks gets super heavy in such a small space. The food is always amazing at least“

“I've ordered both online (for delivery) and in person. Both times the food was delicious, and plenty to eat. I am so happy that the Jade Express has come to Winston-Salem. The lady that served me the other day was an absolute joy.

“Not a place to dine in if you are looking for romance or a night out. HOWEVER! The take out is perfect. The dumplings were exceptional, fresh and a good serving. I ordered egg drop soup and it was spot on. No pets or carrots- exactly how I had hoped.
I only ordered appetizers to take home and eat since it was late for a big meal. But I'm sure to give them a try. It is a family run business. Supporting small local businesses in Walnut cove.“

“This restaurant used to be our favorite. Since the new owners came, everything has gone down hill. The egg rolls are smaller and filled with more rice than anything else. The fried rice is just tan rice with nothing else added. Any dish that is served with vegetables, now expect the veggies to be served raw - uncooked with a sauce over them. The thinly sliced chicken has a lot of fat and gristle. Even the hot tea (overpriced) has a different taste. The last 2 times I ordered the Egg Fu Yung - I was really sick afterwards. If I ever go back I will just order noodle soup with no vegetables or chicken. The waitresses are very nice but I worry about what goes on in the kitchen. Their sanitary rating is low so the kitchen can't be too clean. There are other Chinese restaurants in the area that we will be trying.“

Every customer by phone, online,in a app & in person in a timely manner & mean no harm in tone or rushed service.it can be extremely difficult during the lunch rush,On top of a language barrier..There is only one person at the counter who is doing it all & trying to make sure everyone experience is a great one, getting the orders right, food hot & service quick they have came a long way in their service,atmosphere & Food to keep their loyal customers as a customer & welcoming new ones at their establishment.“

“I came inside to order the wing & fry special along with an egg roll, & donuts. The man who took my order was super friendly & had my wings fried hard as I had requested them. Usually, when I order from Chinese restaurants the fries are lackluster, but at this establishment they were HOT, well salted, & crispy. I can’t wait to order here again.“

“Everyone I've encountered here is very helpful and friendly. The food is consistently fresh and tasty. This has become my favorite lunch spot.

Parking: The parking lot is very small and is only one way so you need to turn around.

“Recently moved to town and was looking for a Chinese spot and I found this place. Apparently this restaurant has been in the family for over 30 years. The food was amazing and everything was cooked to perfection. The workers were also super friendly. The restaurant is mainly take out but they do offer tables for customers that need a place to eat. Would bring my friends and family here the next time they come to visit.“

I've tried over restaurants and have never found one as great as here! If you want authentic Chinese food from a lovely, small business, we highly recommend them.“

No we don’t come here for customer experience, we come here for the food at the right price. People complaining about the food or the tables not being clean do not know what this place is about. You want a 5 star table service, go to a place that charges you $50 for two plus tip? This is primarily a takeout restaurant, and a lunch special place with decent pricing. We get our large chicken and broccoli almost every Friday with an order of dumplings (sometimes a shrimp roll) and they are always fresh and always just right. We drive 15 mins to get these when we have two other Chinese restaurants that are only 3-5 mins away. Everyone with a negative review needs to check themselves and their entitlement. Leave this place alone and go pay for the service your want somewhere you pay 40%+ more if you don’t like it.“

“I don't care much for Chinese food but my Mom loves it, so we ordered in one wknd and I got two egg rolls which I do eat bcuz I love cabbage 😂. These were the best egg rolls I had tasted. They were light and crispy w/o being greasy. And very moist and flavorful inside. I thoroughly njoyed em!!“
