We were looking for something to eat on our way back from wilmington. Found this place on google. Glad we did. It was not very busy. Service was excellent and friendly. The buffet was great. And we couldnt beat the prices. There wasnt anything that we didnt like. I absolutely loved the fried chicken. Perfectly done and crispy. Our waitress was very nice and on top of our drinks. Definitely give them a try if you are in the area.
This is a buffet only restaurant. Good oI country food, comfort food. I like the fact that the customers and employees are supposed to wear disposable gloves when using the dipping utensils when going through the buffet while getting their food. I usually stay away from buffets such as Golden Coral buffets because there are so many people using the same dipping utensils without gloves. Going through buffets and everybody using the same dipping utensils without gloves is very unsafe...read full review

Saw this restaurant on UNC-TV and had to visit. The ribs are basted with a sweet sauce and very tinder, lima beans, cabbages, yams are well seasoned. The hushpuppies are delightful!!
