“We have been 3-4 times in the last few months and they have really made some great changes around here! This is a scratch kitchen, so yes, it takes a bit longer to get your food, but while you are there you can get some fresh air and good music! The prices may be a little higher, but you truly get some of the highest quality food in Walnut Cove. My most recent order was a Philly cheesesteak sub and the fresh mozzarella and well seasoned steak made it one of the best I’ve ever had.“

“The food options here are amazing for lake food options. I expected frozen food heated up like you'd receive from a baseball game. But it's real meat cooked to order. The problem is picking what you want. The servings are huge as so you definitely get your monies worth. I couldn't eat it all. I'll be back and I'll be sure to wear stretch pants.“

He’s the perfect mix of professional and personable, always making guests feel welcome and taken care of. “Mickey D's are basically the same anywhere to go, right? Hmmm. Not really. No. The food we order at our MD's in Walkertown is sometimes, well, just bad. I had a filet-o-fish two days ago that I swear they must have reheated that square piece of fish at least 3 times. The corners were hard as a rock! My fries were a cold, soggy mess. We only live 5 minutes from the store so my takeout order should not have been that cold, that fast. My husband's burger was not made like it was ordered on the app. I ordered four of the strawberry/cream cheese pies. We got two. They had the top of the bag folded down and stapled shut! That was a new experience there and I hope it's not a sign of new times. We're going to the new Cookout for our next burger meals!“
