“Denise was very kind and accommodating by preparing the components of my bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit separately. I loved her humor and quick wit. LaDonna was also very friendly. My friends ate a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit and a smoked sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. Martha was convinced the biscuits were made with hoop cheese. We chose to dine in, which seemed surprising to Denise. We liked the atmosphere. The patrons who visited the store were very friendly to us, too.
We will definitely return when we are back in the area.“

“The espresso is wonderful! I stopped by here a year ago and started my day with one and couldn’t stop thinking about it. I live in Rocky Mount. Last weekend I was back in Washington and stopped in again. The same fellow who I assume is the owner (Gary?) made me another espresso and it was just as delicious as the one I had last year. He is a humble and generous perfectionist who crafts a fine espresso and goes out of his way to make sure that his customers are happy.“
