“My husband and I along with our son stopped here to check out the pastries as I love anything sweet. There was a short line but it moved quickly. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. A very pleasant young man took our order. One of the locals standing beside us in line recommended the mountain eclair so we did order one along with a variety of cheesecake, cookies and a couple of pies. We waited just a few minutes for our order to be packed up. The inside is very charming with lots of wood and marble. I liked the open display case, so that we could see all of the pastries. Every single item we ate was delicious, and I would definitely recommend visiting this bakery anytime you’re near Asheville or the surrounding towns. The bakery is very clean, the staff is very nice and seem to work well together, and all of the food we had was excellent! 10/10!!“

“Where to start?! I’ve been gluten free for more than 15 years. It’s hard to find good gluten free dessert (even making your own)! My hubby surprised me with a cake from Butterbug’s and WOW! Everything they’ve made is delicious! I love the flavor combinations. I cannot recommend them enough!! My latest scrumptious treat…Pink Paradise Grapefruit Cheesecake! It was mouthwatering!!!!“

“My husband and I love Mattie Lou’s! Everyone there is incredibly kind and welcoming. The biggest problem I have is not buying one of each item. My husband loves the peanut butter cookies and the biscuits. Her ham and cheese croissants are the best I’ve ever had. I also love the brown sugar lattes. Mattie Lou has become our Friday must visit.“
“I ordered a cake for my Daughter’s birthday that was gluten, egg and nut free and it was absolutely delicious. My daughter we so excited to finally get to eat a real birthday cake. It made the day extra special. Most of the other bakeries I spoke with couldn’t accommodate making a cake with substitutes within the timeline I was hoping but Shawn was able to help make this happen. We can’t wait to come back and try her other treats!“

“This was our first visit to Crumbl and it definitely did not disappoint! The cookies come in 2 sizes mini and Giant and let me tell you the mini cookies are anything but mini and the giant cookies are definitely Giant, so your definitely getting your money's worth. And not to mention their cookie flavors are absolutely delicious.. We will absolutely be returning customers.. 🙂“

“I wanted to stop and get a cookie there for ages, today finally made the hubby get out of the car and go in while I circle the block to pick him back up. They are the best ….got two to share…. an oatmeal raisin and a peanut butter, half dipped in thick chocolate. Scrumptious.!“

“I recently moved into the area and I'm so glad that I discovered this little gem! I have enjoyed the sausage and egg empanada, spinach & feta croissant, pumpkin loaf and their coffee so far and i can't complain about anything! It's a quaint little place. I really love that they promote local businesses and artists as well. I will definitely come back.“

“You can’t go wrong with the AMAZING pound cakes! So far, Ive had the vanilla, almond and last, but not least, turtle! The cakes are delicious and worth every penny. Not only can you have the cake shipped to you, its FAST!! The customer service is above and beyond as well. Highly recommend.“
