“Absolutely fantastic place to eat. Each meal is incredibly flavorful, and the ambiance is pleasantly quirky. It is incredibly busy for a good reason, but the staff work efficiently to get you through the line. This is a must if you're in the Asheville area.“
“50+ yo couple from Camden SC, 2nd visit. We love this place! Food, drinks, Rabbit Hole Bakery, and the garden! We came on a Wednesday around noon (56°) and there was a 30 min wait. We were set up with a text notification, and we visited the bakery and garden while waiting. The rabbit hole bakery has vegan and gluten-free options and a screen porch type area to color or play games (supplies provided). Many flowers, plants, and veggies are labeled in the garden, which I loved! Seated inside (a bit loud for conversation, bustling energy) We ordered the fried green tomato sandwich with fries, coffee, and the Strawberry Basil Mule( basil yum!). We shared these and it was the perfect amount.“
“Another cool find for great food in West Asheville! Lunch on a Monday. They were a bit slow which was fine by us. We sat up at the counter and were greeted right away by super friendly staff. Menu was simple, fresh, scratch and veggie options if you are down for that. There was a full bar, but we didn’t take advantage of that. Even the chef makes a point to ask you how you like the food. And it was better than great. My friend had a special meatball sub on toasted baguette with a lather of pesto sauce and thick slices of fresh, melted mozzarella. I had porkloin scramble with crispy delicious potatoes and two fried eggs, a dash of hot sauce and homemade ranch. If you are into reading reviews and hunting for killer spots to dine without the pretentiousness, go to Regina’s. Thank me later!“
“Tiger Bay Cafe and Battle Cat Coffee Bar are located in the same building but SEPARATE businesses / counters inside. Be aware so you that you wait in the correct line. Once you get past that confusion and find the counter in the back, the menu is small but appetizing. Not many substitutions but that is fine. Wait was about 20 mins for two sandwiches, but my wife and I both found them tasty and worth the wait!Good meal and glad we stopped in.“
“Such a cute little spot! I got the Philly Cheese Steak Omelet (no peppers cause I’m a baby) and they loaded it down with onions and mushrooms to make up for the no peppers. OMG so delicious! The omelet was so fluffy and delicious and the steak, mushrooms, and onions were seasoned so nice! The biscuits with gravy are delicious!!! I could have gotten just that and been happy too lol. Everyone here is so sweet too. They greet everyone like they’ve known them for years (which they probably have as they knew almost every one by name!)Definitely will be back. Yum!“
“This is my new breakfast spot since moving back home to Swannanoa. The staff is friendly, the store appears to be clean, and they have the usual delicious food and great prices you cone to expect when you visit a Waffle House. I might see ya there!?“
“We came in at 3:59 & discovered they close at 4! We ordered quite a lot to go, of course. They were all so nice and did not hurry us at all. We had a 2+ hour drive home and ate under a shade tree in the parking lot. The food was excellent, as usual. We will return the next time we are in Asheville. Love their soup, sandwiches, and breakfast bowls. The restaurant is always clean.“
“Anytime I get a yearning for some WaHo this is my go to one to stop at. I typically get the bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast bowl but am also a fan of the Texas bacon cheese steak melt when not in the mood for breakfast. The staff is always friendly, they keep the place clean, and the cooks never disappoint. Definitely worth a visit!“

“This particular location I usually go to currently has three specific people who are the reason I keep coming back. I know if see Rebecca and/or Royce and/or Zach working, it's going to be worth my while and every dollar I spend. They're literally such rockstars every time I pull up, and no matter the kind of day I've had I know it'll be even better after I see them.Vegetarian options: If you're an "ovo-lacto" vegetarian who's not pious about what's "healthy" or concerned about cross contamination with animal fats, you should be fine here. Just don't forget to tell the server no meat, and they'll understand.Parking: Ample handicap parking, directly next to the building.Wheelchair accessibility: The doors are a bigger challenge than I care to see for wheelchair users to enter the building, but I'm optimistic that the staff would be happy to help anybody who actually struggled with the doors anyway for any reason. I'm currently able-bodied so I wouldn't really know.“
“First time eating at this store. Their wait staff were so nice. The waiter and cook seemed to work well together. I felt like the waiter took a little more time than most in making sure we had everything. That we were happy. And i didn't feel rushed at all. I wish they all had help as well as they have at this store. Will definitely be back.“
“I've been to 5 or 6 IHOPs, and I've never had this experience. The service was amazing, food was fast and delicious, and the restaurant was clean. We visited there twice over our weekend vacation. Whoever is leading this team of servers is doing a great job!“
“This was the best breakfast I've had in years! Waffle was light and fluffy until I coated it with butter and syrup, bacon was perfect, grits, toast and fiesta omelette just worked well together to be tasty, filling, and a party in my mouth. Our waitress was on point and friendly, quick with the menu suggestions and coffee ?“
