Pecan honey bar: ask to have it warmed. Very rich. Good taste but mostly just tastes like honey.
Breakfast chorizo burrito: very good! Sausage has a strong taste, highly recommend.
Chocolate croissant: has chocolate on the inside, light and fluffy croissant. Very tasty.
Breakfast croissant: fresh and light. The tomato gave it a good fresh taste. If you want a light breakfast but filling, this is recommend.
Strawberry flavor in the latte was a huge hit with my party.
I wish they had some of the patties cut in half to see what the inside looked like, such as the eclair. ITS HUGE!
Fast pace environment like most coffee shops right downtown. Plenty of seating inside and a few seats outside if you want to tan in the direct sunlight.“

“Absolutely incredible vegan food! Plant is a more upscale vegan restaurant, and it delivers on every level. The atmosphere is elegant but welcoming, and the food is amazing. The cheese platter is a must-try, so flavorful and beautifully presented. I also loved the ravioli; it was rich, creative, and perfectly done. Whether you’re vegan or not, this place is absolutely worth a visit!“

“my friends and I visited Monday after the herb festival and had the best food of our whole trip at Chestnut! they had the Eggs Benedict and I chose the burger gluten free. all our meals were amazing and the care our waitress put into asking about my gluten issues was so appreciated! I do believe it was the best gluten free burger fries and cheese tots I have eaten ever! Thank you so much for taking the time and going the extra mile for those of us with Celiac. “We really love this place. We went on the tour Wednesday 9/25, second time for what we imagine as an annual event since we go up there every September. I don’t know how bad the damage is but seeing as how they’re right on Riverside drive I’m worried although I did notice that the factory part of the building was well elevated from the ground level. “There were four of us - two locals, two from NYC - and we all enjoyed the experience. Great service from Tenille, who took excellent care of us by being personable, knowledgeable, helping with various selections, and was gracious and funny to boot. The food - chopped salads for all, then chicken, pork chop, short ribs and trout - all excellently prepared. For dessert we shared a decadent lavender-chocolate artful creation that was delicious. Cocktails, wines, coffee all fantastic. A terrific outing.“

The owners fed their employees and their families the entire time they were shut down for Covid. The owner’s husband is involved in many global humanitarian projects. While I was reading the Cantina’s historical wall display, the researcher responsible for the wall came and spent about 20 minutes chatting with me about the area’s history. I was moved by life work of the people associated with the restaurant and will return in support of goodness in the world.“

“I heard about Biscuit Head about a month ago, through a Facebook ad. We were in Asheville to visit Biltmore after Christmas,and visited Biscuit Head on Biltmore Ave twice in two days! The whole staff was so friendly, and the vibe in the restaurant is so fun!! Everything we had both days was fantastic! I ordered the Mimosa fried chicken biscuit both days, and the biscuit donuts, as well! I had to keep apologizing to my family because I was making too many “yum” noises. My husband said the sausage gravy was the best he’s had in ever, and your coffee was great!! When we left yesterday, we genuinely intended to come back for Brunch #3, but the moods were not in our favor today. We look forward to coming back next time we are in Asheville!!“

“Amazing food. Best Italian food i have eaten. In a long time. They have indoors and indoors seating, plus a small bar with some stools. My wife and I had the chicken marsala and picatta, respectively, and both were amazing with yummy mash and broccoli. Definitely recommend this place.

“The buffet at the blue ridge used to be one of the highlights of our stay at the Grove Park, but this trip it was a little disappointing and was just OK. The service and view was as always impeccable, but the food not so much. Biscuits were hard, no southern grits, no sourdough bread, selection of pastries was limited. Perhaps it was a weekday (Thursday ) and is better on the weekend.“

“My go-to pizza place. Huge slices and good prices. I'm a bit of a pizza snob from the northeast, and their pizza is pretty good. I've had other pizza in town that isn't as good while being over priced. When trying pizza somewhere else, I catch myself telling friends, "Standard Pizza is better"“

“There was a wonderful variety of items to choose from, it was difficult to decide. We would have gotten the jalapeño fries and cauliflower tacos but their main frier wasn’t working so we got the chorizo tacos, coconut curry and sweet potato Ruben which came with crispy homemade fries (they have a small frier that was working). We don’t enjoy vegan cheese that is made using Science so we opted for the cashew queso which was absolutely delicious. The tacos were our favorite item. The texture and taste were a solid 10 out of ten. Which made me miss trying the cauliflower tacos even more. The Ruben was our 2nd favorite. I usually have tempeh meat on a Ruben so I couldn’t imagine how they could make sweet potato taste “meaty” but they did. It was so delicious, I will be looking up how to make that “sweet potato meat” at home. The Thai Panang Curry was the only disappointment. It was fresh tasting and the tofu was fried to crispy perfection. It just needed more sauce. I got the Blackberry Ginger Mint mocktail. It was just the right amount of sour and was a beautiful presentation. Our only regret was not leaving room for dessert. If we lived in Asheville we would be regulars at this establishment. Our server was also Excellent! She was attentive without being intrusive. She pre-bussed the table and refilled our water glasses and asked if we needed another round and brought us our food perfectly timed! We went back the next day and had the Tostada Enchilada salad (it’s the choriso taco grown up), the Supreme pizza with no cheese (nice crispy crust and a good amount of sauce), the Amaretto Cherry Cheesecake (absolutely worth going back just for that!) the peanut butter cookie (the only disappointment) and the Lime Aid (perfecly balanced and not too sweet).
