“The chef collaborations and upcoming events at Ivory Road are a foodies paradise! The space was recently updated. It's cozy and welcoming. Each space, in the home turned restaurant, offers community seating with exceptional service for a one of a kind experience. Stay tuned for their new offerings and curated menus. Brunch yesterday was next level. Thank you chef's TT and Jill.“
“Great service, and those shrimp wonton appetizers are to die for! Right amount of spice when enjoying a delicious dark beer I had the Pisgah Peanut Butter Nitro! We enjoy the atmosphere and the service provided. Not a heavy crowd this day, so a little quieter than usual. The bathroom is clean and stocked.“
“We absolutely love this place. We always visit them whenever we are in Asheville. We recommend sitting at the counter. The counter will allow you to be entertained by the staff. We hung out with Derek this time. He is an amazing chef. There's nothing like watching an artist at work.“
“The food and the service here is top notch. I enjoyed absolute best Fried Green Tomatoes I've ever had. They are layered with pimento cheese atop a smoky tomato bbq jam. The Vegan Empanadas were a hit and the Lobster Paella is to live for. This is fine dining with an easy laid back vibe.Honestly I enjoyed one of the best meals I've had in a very long time.Vegetarian options: A couple of vegetarian options.“
“This place is dialed in. The food was superb and cooked to perfection. The staff was very friendly and professional as well. Atmosphere was very pleasing and we now have a “new go to place” for dining out in the area. This manager should be proud to have such a well run business in this day and age. WELL DONE EVERYONE !“
“After a great dinner, we walked around checking out different shops and looking for a cookie to take back to our hotel. It was our first time in Asheville visiting friends who moved here over a year ago. This was a very popular spot for an evening snack. They had all the classic pastries that you’d hope for, including cheesecakes, key lime pies, cookies. We were pleased and came out with one pastry and 2 chocolate dipped peanut butter cookies. They were fantastic!“
“Mehfil is so consistently good. Delivery, takeout, in-person - I've never had a less than stellar meal. And the staff and owners are also incredibly nice. They go out of their way to make you feel like a welcomed guest. It's my favorite place to take visitors because I know the food and service will be on point.Dietary restrictions: Tons of great, clearly marked options for gluten free, vegetarian and dairy free!“
“Fun place good food, good sides, friendly staff. Would be five stars, but it is a tad pricey. On the other hand cut em some slack, considering the current economy, the prices are not over the top, they do need to post a profit to stay open.“
“Parking: During certain times of the day it's hard to find parking due to most residents parking near the restaurant, there is parking across the street at the school but I wouldn't recommend parking there especially as school dismisses because you will be stuck there.Kid-friendliness: I saw school aged children and toddlers as well. Plenty of outdoor seating, I also saw a few doggos sitting outside with their humans.“
“We have lived in West Asheville for eight years and have never gone to Nine Mile. Me and my three children(we are two vegetarians and two vegan) were on our way to the Thai restaurant next-door and my daughter talked us into nine mile after looking at the menu and realizing that everyone could be made happy. So we tried it. Upon entering, there is a large table that reminds me of Covid days, but it is for pick up orders. Otherwise, the decor is nice, not particularly special in anyway, and perhaps slightly shabby. The place just looks well used. The outside of the building, obviously in need of restoration. Service was good, but kind of like the building seemed worn. It was not busy when we arrived at 5:30, but it became busy soon after, the bar every seat was full with diners. We tried most of the vegetarian/vegan entrées, each using the same jerk tofu. Though the tofu is the same in each dish each one was vastly different. Unfortunately, I did not take any pictures, my youngest child who ate pasta with cheese and loved it, and also the natty bread, played chess on my phone throughout the meal. The two vegan teens, one got a pasta dish with fire roasted tomatoes that were sublime and other assorted vegetables, (I don't remember the name) and the other got a different entree- it had black beans, rice, the tofu, plantains and a lovely pineapple salsa. I a vegetarian ordered a dish with white rice, tofu etc. All was delicious. The salads were great. The jalapeño dressing was noteworthy. One beer, an extra order of natty bread, three entrées, one kids plate. $95 including the 20% tip. Not bad, good portions, entrées have salad and bread. I'm glad that my daughter talked us into it and I imagine we will probably make it part of our dining out repertoire.“
“In Asheville to get married and everyone suggested Posana. They were right! The cuisine was perfection in every regard, and the staff made our night even more special with champagne, tasting spoons, and even a signed card! Highly recommend for a top notch dining experience.“
“We were visiting from out of town and ordered via DoorDash. Took a very long time to get our order and when we reached out to the restaurant they called DoorDash for us and handled it without any complaint. Pizza was very good and the cheesecake was some of the best I’ve ever had. Would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food and good customer service.“
“I pass this place driving my daughter to school every day and decided to stop there a few months ago. Now I'm hooked and stop almost weekly! Their quiches are my favorite and it's almost an expectation that my daughter gets some cinnamon roll each time we stop by (They are huge! Perfect splitting size!). The service is so friendly and quick. I'm so happy to find a regular to-go breakfast place of this quality!“
“I'm giving 5 stars for the service because we didn't want for anything but the person did have the personality of a fencepost. The food, however, was crazy good! I had the shrimp and grits and it was one of the best breakfast dishes I've had in years. My Sister had the Southern Benny and and also raved about it. Really, really flavorful and perfectly cooked. The complimentary beignet beginner was a nice touch, too.“
“What a pleasant surprise to find Sunshine Sammies wine visiting Asheville! Enjoyed one of the best tasting strawberry creams I’ve had between warm, freshly baked sugar cookies. I’m usually a waffle cone person so I had to try eating the ice cream sandwich without it dripping everywhere - challenge accepted! Also my wife’s gluten-free peanut butter cookie was ?Will be back!“
“Recently went to Asheville for a long weekend vacation. We had our breakfast at Owl every single morning! All of the baked goods, sweet and savory, rival anything found anywhere. Delicious lattes are served by the most charming staff! I would drive back to Asheville just to visit this beautiful bakery.“
“amazing experience, very friendly staff and great environment at the downtown location...not to mention amazing tea.. definitely will be back anytime I'm in Asheville, TBH I'll possibly make special trips just for the experience( unfortunately there nothing quite like your business.here in Atlanta)“
“Excellent service. I strongly recommend Mr Ralph Carico to those who wants to trade and invest in forex/crypto. He made over $3,400 with my little capital $500 While managing my account in less than 7 days. I couldn’t have asked for more! Contact him Ralph Carico“
“Rosetta’s is a delicious restaurant with a diverse menu chock full of vegan items. They also have a great selection of drinks and vegan desserts. Unfortunately, since moving to their new location, they have been getting more and more expensive. The fare stays the same but the prices get higher. The food, however, is fantastic. You’ll just feel the hit on your wallet as well as the one in your stomach!Vegetarian options: Extremely vegetarian and vegan friendly. There’s no meat on the menu!“
“Jalapeños!!! Voila! Choose your toppings burger: pepper Jack cheese, fresh jalapeños, pickled jalapenos AND jalapenos mustard with tonoatoes for coolness was fire. Deviled egg like none other for real. They had those crispy Parmesan things on top and were spicy!! They have a gose on tap so.......it was perfect. Sour beer....I'm there“
“A very small restaurant with delicious food that is relatively cheaper for the Asheville area. Tender meat with a mild heat. The bread rolls are delicious. Would suggest the meat or veggie platters to try a bit of everything. Great service and friendly staff. A very small restaurant that can be a little loud but an otherwise perfect place to try something new.“
“I was in town for a work trip and stopped here for lunch with my friend/coworker. Its a super cute little place. We enjoyed our server and the food. The food was delicious. We got the cheese plate appetizer and the shared the baby lamp chops plate. We were in a rush to get back to our meetings otherwise we would have stayed longer and enjoyed some of their dessert options.“
“It’s definitely very mellow at the mellow mushroom .Server was very nice .I had a Greek salad with grilled chicken . The chicken was cooked perfectly except it had way too much salt on it . The salad was fair otherwise. The pizza was the real highlight . Crust was so perfect . Was the best pizza crust I ever had.“
“My husband and I have been visiting Asheville for ten years and have walked by this restaurant many times. We found out what we have been missing. This will be a must do on any future visit. The food was outstanding and delicious. Service was outstanding!“
“Super cute coffee shop! they have pretty crystal jewelry inside and the Joey sandwich is delicious! The food was super good and the cashier (he had on cool red heart glasses) was super nice and accommodating! visiting from Florida and this is a cute find!!!“
“[A Vegetarian & An Omnivore, Eating Out Together]Fig Bistro is one of our favorite places to eat. While small, the place is lovely and the service is attentive and friendly. The menu has a terrific balance between vegetarian and meat-based options. Favorite dishes include the salmon and the farro. We appreciate their commitment to sourcing locally whenever possible. While your favorite dish may not be on the menu forever, there will be something new you enjoy just as much. The tables are tightly spaced, but again, it's a small place and they need to maximize their seating. Whether you reside in the area or lucked into a visit here, Fig Bistro is worth your time and money.“
“We come to the pub EVERY time we are visiting Asheville and they NEVER disappoint! The bartender Jose was very attentive and rocked service for us. He has a great personality, managed to serve our party of six, accommodate us perfectly as well as taking equally great care of all of the other patrons. We came in as soon as they opened and got hot fresh delicious food and drinks with a friendly smile and welcoming service. We highly ,highly recommend this place! Award winning jumbo chicken wings, the Cuban is killer! We also had gyro's and they were spot on as well. Fried pickles will be scorching hot when you get them but they are sooooo good you won't want to wait to dig in! but wait a few minutes trust me! Jose makes amazing drinks and goes with the flow even when every beer he goes to pour the kegs blow, but he had wonderful recommendations for alternatives. Go see them, they also have an awesome patio!!!!!“
“Chef Michael catered our daughter's wedding and we could not have been more pleased. The food and service was wonderful. We received many compliments and most importantly, as mother of the bride, I did not have to worry about a thing during the entire event. They simply made everything happen beautifully. Incredibly professional, talented team and most importantly fantastic food.“
“A group of friends and I in desperate need of coffee stumbled on this place while on a girls trip in Asheville, and we were not disappointed! Most of our group got Chai Lattes, I got a Lavender Latte, iced. The shop is so sweet; there's ample room to sit and hang out, and even a drive-through if you're in a hurry! How cool for a little local shop! The folks working and making beverages were so sweet and patient with us as we decided what to get. Guys, I got to the bottom of my iced latte and realized my ice cubes were brown. They took the extra step of adding coffee ice cubes to my drink so even down to the last drop was delicious. Definitely suggest this little Gem if you're heading through Asheville and need a refuel!“
“Perfect place for coffee and bagels before a busy day. This is a true espresso experience—first time I’ve seen a cortado on a menu since I was the one making them—so don’t expect Starbucks style macchiatos. I definitely recommend coming here if you’re staying at the Renaissance hotel (it’s a five minute walk away).“
“The food and service were fantastic! However, the reason I will return every time I visit Asheville is not actually food related. The owners fed their employees and their families the entire time they were shut down for Covid. The owner’s husband is involved in many global humanitarian projects. While I was reading the Cantina’s historical wall display, the researcher responsible for the wall came and spent about 20 minutes chatting with me about the area’s history. I was moved by life work of the people associated with the restaurant and will return in support of goodness in the world.“
“A great spot for breakfast or brunch with wonderful coffee options and an amount of unique and delicious breakfast items. The café mocha is delicious and well-balanced, and the grits were thick and creamy. Overall, the vibe was cheery, and the establishment well lit which made for a morning type of mood.“
“We had a delightful meal for a reunion of sorts. I chose Laughing Seed because only one of our party of six is a vegan, the rest "omnivores." We each ordered something different from the menu, and everyone loved their meals. I have eaten here several times before and always enjoy the great food and the pleasant ambiance. Our waiter was gracious. He was patient as we all gathered and caught up with each other. He was kind enough to take a photo of us at the table and was thoughtful enough to suggest taking another photo by the mural after our meal. Table photos are always awful, with the people in front huge and the ones in back tiny. So I appreciate that he volunteered to get a good photo of us all. A nice momento of a wonderful evening.“
“This is theee best breakfast restaurant I’ve ever been to. I highly recommend both me and my wife loved it! We loved it so much we had to come back the next day to get more. Every time I come to Asheville this will be my go to breakfast place.“
“Some of the best chicken we have had and insane curry sauce. Vegan options available too. Staff are readily available and nice, interior design is supreme. My only concern, is the lack of variety. Overall, come here for cheap and get amazing food out of it.“
“Party of 12 of us stopped by on a Thursday afternoon. Our bartenders Hannah and John were all over it. Everyone had a cocktail within minutes and our food came out right away. I can't say enough about the service that John and Hannah provided, while also managing the rest of the bar area. The cocktails were solid pours and delicious with the NY Sour being a standout. The pub food was similarly delicious - the onions were said to be "the best I've ever had" by several of us. The fish and chips were super flaky and light and use the same batter made with French Broad Kolsch beer that is fantastic - no greasiness that you might expect. The hand-cut fries were super tasty - especially with a splash of malt vinegar. The Cowboy Cuban with brisket was superb as was the "Fettichoke". The Yelp! rating is what brought our group in and is really well-earned here at Wayside. If you're in the Biltmore Village area and looking for a great spot for craft beer, cocktails, and quick/tasty food - come to Wayside.“
“My first authentic Korean and it was amazing. I wish I lived closer, I could easily eat here every week. Food was delicious super hot, fresh ingredients, very friendly service. Huge portions, I can wait to let my son try it when I get home. If I’m ever in town I will definitely be back.“
“My wife and I have been wanting to try The Baker's Box for a while now. Today was our lucky day! We tried their "Big A** Fish Sandwich" which was one of today's specials and the Ashe-vegas Panini. Both sandwiches were delicious, but that fish sandwich might have been the best I have ever had. The house made roll and tarter sauce were out of this world! I just wish there was more and that it was a permanent menu item. While ordering our lunch, we were tempted by the dessert display to the left of the registers, so we ordered a lemon tart and an oreo cheesecake brownie to take home. Highly recommend this place! Just don't stop in for lunch if you are in a rush, they have signs reminding you that this is not a fast food joint.“
“The vegan/gluten free donuts were a dream! I haven’t had donuts in a decade and now I finally can again. I loved the straightforward glazed and the key lime. They have a very cool international chip selection too. We will be stopping in regularly.“
“I love the food, the dedication and mission of Fletcher Village Bakery! My family and I strongly believe in supporting local businesses and feeding our family healthy, local and organic foods and this bakery makes it easy to bring fresh organic breads home to our table every week. The croissants are very good (not quite Paris good, but they come fairly close ?). The carrot cake is PHENOMENAL!Vegetarian options: Plenty of options that can be made vegetarian with slight modifications.“
“Our family of four loved it. You order right when you come in the door and they give you a number. The cashier was nice and witty. They have a few inside tables and more tables available on the covered patio. We had the bbq chicken pizza, Scarface minus the spicy salami, and the spinach salad side. Both pizzas were great and there always a nice char on the crust (but not too overpowering). I liked that the chicken in the bbq pizza wasn't dried out like some places tend to do. The side salad is only $2 less than the entree portion, so I'm wondering how big the entree is because the side was pretty big. The flavors of the salad and dressing went well and I loved the local made feta. Overall, this is a solid bet for a quick bite.“
“We have been ordering special cakes and just stopping by their retail location for years!! Excellent custom cake options. Taste is great in all the cakes we have ordered. Support this business, they are worth it!Shanna did a great Lakers / Kobe cake for my 13 year old most recently and we ate every bite.“

“The food here was EXCELLENT! We had figs wrapped in prosciutto, a salad and a risotto and shrimp dish with veggies. There were nine whole shrimp on the plate. We shared it all and Everything was outstanding except the service. Eli or Ian? dropped the ball. We sat for at least 12 minutes before being greeted, had to ask for water refills, were brought the wrong food twice, no one poured our bottle of wine for refills, never were we checked on after each dish was served. We did share our disappointment with the manager, left a 10% tip, and plan to return. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic!“
“Fidel was so amazing!! thank you for being such a fantastic bartender and being the absolute best! The ambiance is wonderful! Our martinis were so delicious and we had a phenomenal time!!! GIVE HIM A RAISE OR ELSE I WILL CRY!!!! I LOVE THIS MAN, THE BEST EVER!! smart too“
“Anjuli was our server and she was wonderful. She was quick to correct a food issue without excuse or blame. Her goal was to make it right for the customer and she did. Her handling of this made what could've been a negative experience, a very positive one.“
“Great coffee & tea shop, along with lots of food options. Reasonably priced, freshly prepared muffins, cookies, various other pastries. Many beverage options, swift service. Parking can be a challenge. If you go, allow extra time to get parking spot & perhaps have walk a bit to the shop.“
“Super freakin good bro pizza.... Idk why I just called it bro pizza... I guess cause they made me feel like a brother ? ... of pizza.... ? It's hard to explain, just go there. It's very simple pizza but damn good. I go there every time I'm in Asheville and I get the hankerin' for some pizza... which is constantly ?“
“Excellent food and service. Burger was cooked perfectly and all the add-ons I chose were fresh and delicious. Huge fan of the FB fries and the sweet potato fries as well. Will be back to try the Double Bacon burger and also want to try the chicken burger and onion rings!“
“Baked pie company has been one of my family's favorite dessert spots for years. My wife and I frequently enjoy lunch dessert dates there throughout the week. All of the pies and the great selections are wonderful. The service is always great and the restaurant is always really clean. We also enjoy on warm days sitting outside on the patio, enjoying a nice pie flight. We visited there today and I will note that we were a little disappointed to find that they no longer had flavored coffee creamers. I know this might sound a little, but I hope that they will bring back the flavored creamers as nothing goes better with a pie fly than a nice cup of coffee.Still well worth a five-star review!“
