“This one might be a bit long. Last night I went to this location and was completely blown away by what happened. I have been in food service for more than 20 years and I walked into this mcdonalds and the manager on duty sylvonia (I hope I spelled your name correctly) was absolutely amazing. Not only was she super friendly and gave the best customer service I've ever experienced at Any mcdonalds location, but she was SO fast, efficient and even seemed to be training someone whilst keeping everything else going smoothly. I have never experienced that before and I am completely blown away. The store manager of this location needs to take note of the fact that sylvonia is indispensable and I am absolutely certain deserves a promotion and raise. She could absolutely run that store by herself, and did! Corporate also needs to take note of her and see the shining star they have at this location and open up every opportunity to her, because at the end of the day you have costumers who come to your establishment and only expect fast food, but when she's in the building you leave with a smile and a certainty that you won't be going anywhere else from now on! Its SO rare nowadays to have someone care so much about their job that the customer can instantly tell because they've just been given they best customer service they've ever experienced, but I'm happy to say that now, I have!“

“I love this place! Service is always great and it’s decorated like a 1950s diner. The food? Fantastic, fresh and is ready fast.
Superboy (get it as is) and fries are my “go to” but the fried chicken, onion rings and the chicken salad plate are also terrific. They also have a delicious mustard-forward potato salad that slays. You won’t be disappointed!“

“We visited on 8-30-25. I stopped by with my youth group to get a bite to eat after a day at Carowinds. Shatel was the manager working that day. We had around 25 kids and I stopped by without calling ahead(I know shame on me) but I had confidence in this place as my family eats here almost every Sunday. Let me tell you, the staff working that day was on it. They worked hard and took all of our orders and got the fresh, made when you order delicious food out in a timely manner to all of our youth. They were so nice and respectful and did not act the least bit flustered with us. They did all of this while taking care of other customers as well. I just wanted to come on here and brag about how well they did. We love this Culvers. This isn't just an ordinary fast food restaurant. They make you feel right at home when you are here. The managers are fantastic and so are all of the staff. I have never had a staff member be rude to me. Go and support this Culvers if you are craving delicious fresh made food. I promise you won't be disappointed.“

“The buns were too soft and it seems they grill them and push them flat when you have a large size burger the bread tends to fall apart also the fries could have been cooked harder The floors are slippery as well“

“Same as any other five guys, although my wait time to receive the food was horrible, stood there in line for almost 30 minutes while orders before mine and after mine were called before me and I had a simple cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and ketchup. The ladies working the line did not have a sense of urgency at all and we're super slow while the guy working the fries killed it, those ladies need to be retrained or replaced.“

“If you asked me a few weeks ago if I would recommend this place, I probably would say yes. We usually never have any issues here but this past Saturday was terrible. There weren't many people inside which was nice but the hostess was so focused on her phone that she didn't see us come in. One of the waitress asked her if she helped us yet. I believe the owner took our order which she got wrong. I'm allergic to gluten and the Philly cheese was on a regular bun and not gluten free. She told me I spoke to quietly and didn't hear me. WTF? She heard me say my order ( Philly, meat and cheese, with fruit) but she didn't hear the gluten free part? I asked my daughter if I said it just to make sure and she said I did. Being a vegan is a choice, being allergic to gluten is not. I'm not sure if we will come back. She didn't even apologize. One of the other waitress was very nice about it and apologized.“

“I eat here almost every weekend. I don't eat meat, but I love that I can substitute the meat in any of their flavorful burgers with a veggie pattie. Their tempura green beans are a favorite. The servers are always friendly. I recommend this place!

“Visited Matthews, NC few days ago and had lunch here. The food was awesome (I had Jalapeno Poppers and Peter Piper burger), and so was the beer selection (I had a really good blonde ale (cannot recall the name unfortunately)). Service was great, and washrooms were clean. The place has a really cool vibe to it, looks like one would feel at home there while watching sports on one of the many screens.“

“Oh my gosh if I could give this place 1 million stars I would! My son wanted his 8th birthday here badly. I called and spoke with Julie and she answered all my questions & was super helpful with suggestions. The day of the party Hilary made our desert platter with the funfetti cake bites and candy and it was SO delicious. I can’t rave enough about the cake bites, honestly everyone of my guests loved them! We had the tots fries, chicken tenders and ravioli (fried) and it was all so amazing and surprisingly fed a lot of people for what I ordered. They didn’t try to upsell me but guided me on what would reasonably work for how many people. The lady at the front desk was super sweet and helpful too! It was a blast for the kids AND adults!! Not gonna lie I kinda want my bday party here next year lol. Thanks again Fox’s- y’all were amazing ! Highly recommend!!“

“The fish and chips I had here were pretty exceptional for an unassuming-looking American restaurant. Fish was fried well and was crispy. Needed more salt. But the medallion-style fries were unironically the best fries I've had outside my kitchen. Perfectly crispy exterior, soft interior, seasoned with Lawry's, and came out piping hot.

Even the slaw-- which is never good-- WAS good.

Will definitely be back just for those fries.“

“This is a great local place, family owned, where you can get a really good burger with all the fixin's or a chili dog. The food is delicious and really great quality. Short order cook makes them perfect here! Staff is friendly as you'd expect in this small town. Prices are very reasonable. There are about a half dozen or more tables you can sit at and enjoy your lunch, or just order to go!

“I'm not sure why the reviews for this location is bad. The food was excellent, my man and I went on a Tuesday night, it was empty. We did the 2 for $25 we each got 2 meals and an appetizer. There's an upcharge for the streak and shrimp but portions are large, everything was fresh. Our server Savanah was quick and friendly, checked on us multiple times and gave an update with everything.“
