“If you asked me a few weeks ago if I would recommend this place, I probably would say yes. We usually never have any issues here but this past Saturday was terrible. There weren't many people inside which was nice but the hostess was so focused on her phone that she didn't see us come in. One of the waitress asked her if she helped us yet. I believe the owner took our order which she got wrong. I'm allergic to gluten and the Philly cheese was on a regular bun and not gluten free. She told me I spoke to quietly and didn't hear me. WTF? She heard me say my order ( Philly, meat and cheese, with fruit) but she didn't hear the gluten free part? I asked my daughter if I said it just to make sure and she said I did. Being a vegan is a choice, being allergic to gluten is not. I'm not sure if we will come back. She didn't even apologize. One of the other waitress was very nice about it and apologized.“

Fried mushrooms and cold cold beer to start .. then I got the Patty melt and fries ( had to bring half home ) He got the Meatball sub and onion rings but nothing left to bring home ! “Same as any other five guys, although my wait time to receive the food was horrible, stood there in line for almost 30 minutes while orders before mine and after mine were called before me and I had a simple cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and ketchup. The ladies working the line did not have a sense of urgency at all and we're super slow while the guy working the fries killed it, those ladies need to be retrained or replaced.“

“Visited Matthews, NC few days ago and had lunch here. The food was awesome (I had Jalapeno Poppers and Peter Piper burger), and so was the beer selection (I had a really good blonde ale (cannot recall the name unfortunately)). Service was great, and washrooms were clean. The place has a really cool vibe to it, looks like one would feel at home there while watching sports on one of the many screens.“

“I eat here almost every weekend. I don't eat meat, but I love that I can substitute the meat in any of their flavorful burgers with a veggie pattie. Their tempura green beans are a favorite. The servers are always friendly. I recommend this place!

“The fish and chips I had here were pretty exceptional for an unassuming-looking American restaurant. Fish was fried well and was crispy. Needed more salt. But the medallion-style fries were unironically the best fries I've had outside my kitchen. Perfectly crispy exterior, soft interior, seasoned with Lawry's, and came out piping hot.

Even the slaw-- which is never good-- WAS good.

Will definitely be back just for those fries.“

“Oh my gosh if I could give this place 1 million stars I would! My son wanted his 8th birthday here badly. I called and spoke with Julie and she answered all my questions & was super helpful with suggestions. The day of the party Hilary made our desert platter with the funfetti cake bites and candy and it was SO delicious. I can’t rave enough about the cake bites, honestly everyone of my guests loved them! We had the tots fries, chicken tenders and ravioli (fried) and it was all so amazing and surprisingly fed a lot of people for what I ordered. They didn’t try to upsell me but guided me on what would reasonably work for how many people. The lady at the front desk was super sweet and helpful too! It was a blast for the kids AND adults!! Not gonna lie I kinda want my bday party here next year lol. Thanks again Fox’s- y’all were amazing ! Highly recommend!!“

“The buns were too soft and it seems they grill them and push them flat when you have a large size burger the bread tends to fall apart also the fries could have been cooked harder The floors are slippery as well“

“I like the classic burger a lot. It's close to In-N-Out. The truffle burger was a disappointment. It's always kind of cold in there throughout the winter. Lastly, asking for a tip when I have to input the order at the kiosk is ridiculous.“

“The service was very good Culver's employees more than enough help and their attitudes are on par with Chick-fil-A. The fish sandwich was very good are grandchildren enjoyed the corn dogs and hamburgers my wife had a bacon cheeseburger she said it was good. The custard's are very good but for me the standout was the fish sandwich and I loved their diet root beer it is very good.“

“I visited Hef's Restaurant for the first time this past Sunday night (June 29) an it was awesome! The best part was our waitress Jamie. She was amazing! What a personality! And she gave us incredible service and was so nice and professional.

Also, this may seem small to you but THANK YOU for having Stevia sweetener packets! Stevia is the best and most healthy sweetener and a few restaurants serve them but not many. Having Stevia sweeteners will definitely make me come back!

And finally, being open until 2:00 a.m. is terrific. I play tennis a lot in the evenings until 10:00 p.m. and not many places are open. So, you will see my tennis group coming after tennis in the future.

“Late-Night Convenience

I don’t go to Cook Out often, but every now and then, it’s a solid choice—especially when we’re tired and haven’t cooked.

I got a Cook Out Tray with a regular burger, Cajun fries, and hushpuppies. The burger was excellent—juicy and flavorful. Unfortunately, the fries were cold and the hushpuppies were overcooked, which was a bit disappointing.

One downside for me is that whatever they cook in bloats my stomach, so it’s not something I can eat often. That said, they’re one of the few places open after 10 PM, so the convenience keeps them on my radar.“

“My kids and I enjoyed eating at Applebees! The food was great, the service was excellent! I even had forgotten my card to pay with and because I had a picture of it on my cellphone, the server was able to enter it manually and verify that I was the cardholder via my ID. “Best DQ in Charlotte. The manager, Pam, is very nice, and runs a great store. Delayla has been their almost as long as Pam and is a great second in command. This DQ is clean, the service is great, and the prices are what ice cream should be. We are regular customers and give four thumbs up.

Parking: Up from the Matthews Township Harris Teeter so plenty of parking.“
