Hole Lotta Doughnuts Reviews
I have nothing negative to say. I heard about the place on facebook and started sending my wife pictures of the doughnuts a month or more ago. Yesterday we drove up from Statesville finally!

Cool spot. Great donuts
A truly delightful Bakery & Café nestled in charming West Jefferson, NC. During my visit, I enjoyed Hometown Appalachia each morning — we were joyed to indulge in such sweetness early in the day. Some standout selections were: the Salted Caramel & Apple Cinnamon donuts, Strawberry gourmet cupcakes, & even a. . . Double Chocolate Espresso cupcake! Wow!

Hole Lotta Doughnuts is a popular spot with a great selection of doughnuts. The lavender vanilla doughnut remains a standout favorite among customers. The donuts are often fresh and delicious, with options like the specialty donut and glazed donut. The restaurant has expanded its space, although some customers miss the original, smaller format. Visitors have praised the huge doughnuts that are soft and taste very fresh. Many guests enjoy the doughnuts so much that they visit multiple times during their stay. One customer mentioned the apple fritter as the best apple fritter they’ve ever tasted, crispy where it should be and soft with flavor. Service is friendly, with helpful employees who take their time with customers. There have been small issues, like a lack of creamer or the presence of flies near the showbox of doughnuts, which are not ideal. Despite these minor concerns, the overall experience is positive, and the doughnuts are considered the best around, making it a favorite destination for both locals and vacationers. Hometown Appalachia is also locally-owned and offers a sense of community, with staff recommending local hiking trails and other restaurants.
