The restaurant shines with its meats, offering options like brisket, pulled pork, ribs, smoked turkey, and a fried chicken sandwich. The pulled pork sandwich is heaven, with a huge helping of succulent pork that does not make the roll mushy. The fried chicken sandwich is juicy, well breaded, and perfectly cooked on a brioche bun with comeback sauce and house made pickles. Sides are outstanding, including homemade coleslaw, collards, mac & cheese, fries fried in tallow, and pit beans. A popular combo is pulled pork, collards, and pit beans in a bowl with that sauce and some cornbread. Everything is so delicious, from the Eastern North Carolina style pulled pork to the Nashville hot style. The banana pudding is also a hit. This BBQ hits the spot and is the best barbecue and more place in town.
