Marty's BBQ offers comfortable, fast, and friendly service with good overall food. The minced BBQ is top-notch, and the mac and cheese is acceptable. The collards are on the healthier side, and the Brunswick Stew might need a touch of sugar for some. The drive-thru is streamlined, with crispy and yummy livers available. The BBQ sauce is juicy and tangy, while the collards are nicely chopped. The mac & cheese is spot-on, and the staff is super helpful and courteous. The only downside was receiving small portions of chicken in a large dinner order. The parking lot can get tight, but there is free overflow parking in the back. Marty's BBQ is a gem for down-home cooking, and a must-visit spot for delicious NC BBQ when passing through.
