The staff was very friendly and the portions, along with the atmosphere, is what I remember when it was Jim and Judy’s. I’ll definitely go back again!”

Second I want to call out Bethany Cole. How are you going to change your previous raving review to a bad review when your husband is too much a a ***** to ask politely for what he ordered. Once he made the decision to keep the incorrect order the resigned any right to whine like a little child. Also why isn't he man enough to write his own opinions but instead has you write them for him. Must be a basic beta male. Anyway food for thought. 5 out of 5”

“I live in Maryland and often visit my sister who lives in Monroe.
The food is delicious and the services is as equally good.
I was blown away on a visit to the Palace and the waitress knew what I wanted.
Talk about extraordinary customer service.
Thank you for making me feel like part of the community.
I never leave town without a visit to the Palace for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
In addition the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable.
I wish there were more restaurants that took this type of time to take care of there customers.

“Driving back east from Charlotte area today and turn off US 74 looking for local place to eat. I found Ms. Allie’s Cafe and it did not disappoint. I had the Shrimp and Grits and it was delicious. The service was great. If you are Marshville are you got to try this place.”

“My friends and our kids stopped in (5 kids ages 10 to 2). The owners were so sweet. The coffee was amazing! Seriously the best spot to slow down a second and enjoy your coffee. My son also had a cinnamon roll and he warmed it up a little, it was delicious. This is definitely my new go to!”

“This is a must stop if you're ever in Monroe. So adorable inside and smells so yummy inside. The owner and her staff are the sweetest! Their desserts and sausage balls are a must. I always love to surprise clients with some goodies from there. This hidden gem is a must stop!”

“If you asked me a few weeks ago if I would recommend this place, I probably would say yes. We usually never have any issues here but this past Saturday was terrible. There weren't many people inside which was nice but the hostess was so focused on her phone that she didn't see us come in. One of the waitress asked her if she helped us yet. I believe the owner took our order which she got wrong. I'm allergic to gluten and the Philly cheese was on a regular bun and not gluten free. She told me I spoke to quietly and didn't hear me. WTF? She heard me say my order ( Philly, meat and cheese, with fruit) but she didn't hear the gluten free part? I asked my daughter if I said it just to make sure and she said I did. Being a vegan is a choice, being allergic to gluten is not. I'm not sure if we will come back. She didn't even apologize. One of the other waitress was very nice about it and apologized.”
