Burk St Pub is one of those very local dive type bars. The Staff is AMAZING always very friendly. The door man is always strict about the dress code and rules. Not in a bad way... just be prepared before you go. They really won't let you in if you don't sign to their request. The dress code isn't anything outrageous either, so do not be detoured. The Establishment is a great and even still, time tested stamp of superior quality, service and just mama's house at any given dining. The food, the preparation of presentation thru all spectrum of the service industry is the unspoken and recognized industry standard!!In highest respect to Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert...I give this heavenly cove of love, 2 belly fulls in one day, thumbs up!! ????

Definitely a cool dive bar type spot in the heart of winston-salem. I was staying overnight and went there based on other reviews that I had saw. The guy that served me behind the bar was really cool and chill to talk to. I don't recall his name but he's been there for quite a few years.
