Dave & Buster's in Winston-Salem offers a variety of games, including shooters, reflex games, and carnival-style games. The restaurant is currently undergoing renovations to expand the sports bar and add stall-like booths for electronic darts and shuffleboard. Prices for games are in decimals, with $20 getting you 100 credits, and each credit costing roughly $0.20. The prizes for redeeming tickets are decent, starting at 25 tickets and going up to 100,000 tickets for top prizes like an Xbox One.
The food has been described as better than expected for an arcade-themed place, with a churro dessert that has been praised for being delicious. The service is reported to be good, and the manager has been praised for handling a problem with a game in a superb manner, providing extra tickets without being asked.
The restaurant offers half-price games every Wednesday, but coupons or promos cannot be used on that day. The recent addition of more game options and upgrades has been well-received, but some have criticized the limited and overpriced prizes. Customers have noted the noise level can be high, and the presence of gnats in the dining area has been a concern for some.
