“We were recommended to eat here by a friend and we absolutely loved it. We had our 11 month old son with us and they accommodated us by all means. We will definitely be back next time we’re in town. The brisket Mac & cheese was delicious!“
“Such a fan of Botanist and Barrel’s ciders and wines. I love that they are all natural and contain no weird additives. Extra brownie points since their organic ingredients are sourced locally from their farm or other local sources! Love the tasting rooms ambiance and chill vibes. Highly recommend!!“
“Hands down best wings I’ve had. They were so crispy and the sauces were phenomenal. We got the crack sauce and the Carolina jerk. The onion rings were top notch and made completely in house and the mac and cheese bites were super gooey. All around awesome place, my wife and I will be back soon.“
“Excellence service; staff make you feel welcome and make certain you have what you need.Food delicious and reasonably priced for the quality.Tempeh Reuben with coleslaw and mashed potatoes filling.Introduced to Guinness Zero and found it a first class beer that goes well with my meal.Live band at 9 pm, which I would have stayed for if I had not had prior appointment“
“We come to the pub EVERY time we are visiting Asheville and they NEVER disappoint! The bartender Jose was very attentive and rocked service for us. He has a great personality, managed to serve our party of six, accommodate us perfectly as well as taking equally great care of all of the other patrons. We came in as soon as they opened and got hot fresh delicious food and drinks with a friendly smile and welcoming service. We highly ,highly recommend this place! Award winning jumbo chicken wings, the Cuban is killer! We also had gyro's and they were spot on as well. Fried pickles will be scorching hot when you get them but they are sooooo good you won't want to wait to dig in! but wait a few minutes trust me! Jose makes amazing drinks and goes with the flow even when every beer he goes to pour the kegs blow, but he had wonderful recommendations for alternatives. Go see them, they also have an awesome patio!!!!!“
“Nice space to come hang out and eat tasty food. My only feedback is the brussels could’ve been more crispy, but our entrees were great. My partner said it was the best blackened chicken sandwich she’s had. We enjoyed the warmer lighting and music! We just moved to the area, this is somewhere we’ll return to for sure!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free buns“
“Nestled in the heart of Asheville, North Carolina, this English pub offers a delightful fusion of authentic British charm and local flair. While there’s a variety of local craft brews to choose from, including several options on tap, it’s the Guinness stout that truly steals the show. Great place for soccer ⚽️ enthusiasts. Has a pool table as well.Has a food truck and have good smash burgers. Parking is readily available nearby, making it convenient for patrons to visit without worrying about the hassle of finding a spot.“
“Amazing tacos and great service on top of a fabulous atmosphere vibe in this place was just perfect and the food just made it that much better and not even to mention we were the last people for the kitchen to cook for. They were trying to close down and everything but yet they still made our food fabulous, and all the way up to par, I would definitely go again and I would certainly recommend for anyone to check this place out. It was totally worth it.Vegetarian options: Sounded good“
“Classic bar with some good pub food. The hamburger is really good, as well as the Reuben, and the chicken tenders. The appetizer sampler for $18 was underwhelming. They have pool tables, darts a patio area in the front and back. Also a couple tvs playing sports. Lots of regulars and great people frequent this bar, def check it out!Parking: They have maybe 30 spots available, right next to the entrance.“
“I thought really hard before I said this because I wanted to make sure I was solid on the conclusion…..I believe this is the best food I’ve ever ate in my entire 33 years of being alive. We ordered last night because we are from out of town and wanted to try something local. It was late and not many places were open. We stumbled upon this place and put in a take out order. The menu at first judgement looks small and a bit pricey on sandwiches, but it’s worth every penny. This place is the meaning of quality over quantity. Last night we tried the rogies, stake and cheese hoagie, deep fried deviled eggs, served with a side of hand cut fries and fancy sauce per request. I consider myself a sauce queen so I always try house special condiments. This fancy sauce could literally go on almost anything. It’s delicious. The deviled eggs are like heaven. The rogies were very obviously handmade with love. I was so blown away by the perfect level of spices added to each dish and the flavors we had to come back again tonight. Instead of trying another new spot we couldn’t help but come back again and try something else on the menu. The dirty south chicken sandwich is unbelievable. The flavor combo of buffalo and lemon pepper is perfect. We got the fried eggs and sides of fancy sauce again. We decided to add the cap n crunch French toast to our order tonight for dessert and as expected it didn’t disappoint. I’m so sad to be going home tomorrow knowing this place is over an hour away from me but I know I’ll be back and I encourage all my foodie friends to try it. Don’t let the small minimal exterior fool you this place is the bees knees !“
“Have come here often, and it is most like a neighborhood pub that we've come across in Asheville. They have a nice selection of beers and wines. While the menu is limited, it has a variety and abounds in pub fare. Overall, a fun place for drinking.“
“They state that the bar and grill is, "cozy and quirky".... and it was. Traveling through Asheville NC, we met friends and the ladies decided to do a lunch and some thrift shopping. We found a place in West Asheville that was really fun. DeSoto Lounge was small, eclectic, and had a reasonably priced brunch menu. Dogs are allowed at the outside seating area. We split a club sandwich with a salad, chips. The food was fine, it was the music and atmosphere which was the step back into the '70's. The entire area was filled with vintage clothing stores, crystal/rock shops and other reto pubs. Quite an ecclect experience.“
“We went for dinner in Oct 2021 and Dec 2020. Always excellent food and service.Cast iron seared scottish salmon with curried butternut squash puree, warm red cabbage slaw with chickpeas and broccoli, puffed amaranth was excellent.Pickle board included house-pickled vegetables and egg, fruit compote, and crackers. The estate raised thick cut bone in pork chop came with caramelized apple and whole grain risotto, grilled radicchio, pork butter, candied pecans.Always great choices.“
“Literally best joint ever if you want to be local or not and feel welcomed as you are. Ask for EDDIE!Sirracha wings were saucy and WET. Everything was made with a lil extra as a the south is. My friend ordered the BLT great dose of Aioli, with a side of sweet potato fries with a spice along side of sweet and savory of waffley goodness.Parking: Park I rear“

“Great shop. I was only in town for a few days & had a brake issue. Frank fixed it overnight. Super friendly & super helpful. Saved my trip. Incidentally ran into cyclists at the Charlotte airport on the way home and they raved about the shop & service (One had a Beer City Bicycles shirt on). Highly recommend stopping if you are in Asheville.“
