“If you're in Youngsville and want great pizza, you need to stop by HomeSlice Tavern. Heck, if you're anywhere in a 75 mile radius of Youngsville, get in here!My wife and I have been meaning to stop in for a while and finally made it today. We were not disappointed and will be back again, regularly. As far as the menu, your choice is pizza. You can order by the slice or get a whole pizza. Keeping it simple, there's only one size - 18 inch. There are plenty of choices for toppings. The pizza is some of the best I've had! The crust is hand tossed, cooked to perfection. Plenty of gooey cheese. Lots of pepperoni! I forgot how much I loved the little pepperoni until I had it on this pizza. I highly recommend the pepperoni pizza.Drink selection is plentiful. They have a few beers on tap and more in bottles and cans. Their liquor selection is huge - I imagine they can make just about anything you want. Today's popular drink was Bloody Marys. The restaurant itself is very inviting. The kind of place you want to hang out with family and friends. Inside is a large bar and plenty of high-top and regular tables. The area is nice and open. There's a small area with arcade-type games. They have a huge outside area with a lot of seating. There's even a balcony area to look out over the outdoor area.Jay, one of the GMs, made us feel very welcome. He chatted with us and gave everyone equal attention. This is definitely a friendly place. We can't wait to go back, hang out, and have a great time.“

Fortnight Brewing Wake Forest Brewery • $$
1894 S Franklin St, Wake Forest - 5.44 miles

“Fortnight Brewing is a pretty chill place to visit with friends and have a beer or two. There's plenty of seating inside and on the patio. It definitely has a warehouse feel and I love the garage door windows. My husband and I ordered a total of 3 flights to try an assortment of IPAs, Sours, Ciders, Ales, Stouts, and Porters. There was only one bartender and unfortunately, she seemed a bit annoyed with us ordering flights, at one point, she sighed and rolled her eyes. By the third flight order, you'd think she had just run a marathon with all that huffing and puffing...which is why I knocked this brewery down a star. I would probably rate it 3 to be honest but I'll visit again and see if service gets any better. Mind you, this was on a Sunday at noon...there were only two other people there. Anyways, the beers were good and we left satisfied with our choices. The prices were really good, too. A pint is $7 which is awesome. There are chips for purchase but other than that, it is just a brewery with a good amount of drink options.“

“We have passed this many times saying that we need to try it. Well we finally did and we will become regulars with them now. You order and sit but it was easy to maneuver the process. They bring the food to you when ready and the food was excellent. I had their flounder sandwich and it was so nice and lightly breaded with great flavor. My husband had a burger and shared it was the best burger he has tasted in a while. The Salty Turtle Beer Co is two doors down and if you are enjoying your time there you can order food from Town Hall and they will bring it to you. Great partnership! If you want a really good experience while having a burger - gotta try this place.“

“I tried this place for the first time tonight. I am SO glad we did! As we walked in, every employee greeted us on our way to the table. Food was not only spectacularly presented, but was also DELICIOUS! ? As a Puerto Rican myself, I know what a good mofongo tastes like and the one I ate tonight was perfectly delicious! Jhonathan’s service went above and beyond. I even thought he was the owner! I will definitely be here again next time I’m in town. BTW…. I don’t know why so many reviews say their menus don’t have prices. I perfectly saw all prices on the menu I was given. I actually even saw them online. ??‍♀️“
