Unfortunately tried this place while passing through. This is the second worst Chinese food I have EVER had. The orange chicken just tasted like sugary syrup. Nothing orange about it. The sweet and sour sauce was thick and gelatinous. I ordered fried rice and got steamed rice with some scrambled egg in it. My boyfriend who is a human garbage disposal that will eat nearly anything said this was also the worst Chinese food he’s ever eaten. China Garden gets 2 stars from me...read full review
Take out only still, so atmosphere is can of an n/a. They seem to get orders out pretty quick, 20 minutes is usually what they say on the phone. It's good food. The family special order seems to have less food than before especially the sweet and sour chicken. Their spicy sweet and sour is awesome sauce literally!
My favorite Chinese restaurant hands down. Been going here since I was a teenager.

Based on reviews, China Garden Restaurant | Asian is a good place for takeout, as the dining room is always closed. The service is top tier, and orders come out pretty quick, usually within 20 minutes. The food is good, with specific meals like the sweet and sour chicken, Mongolian beef, egg rolls, and egg drop soup receiving high praise. The spicy sweet and sour is described as awesome sauce, and the egg rolls are like burritos and nothing like you have ever experienced. However, some menu items are a bit bland without extra seasoning, and the family special order seems to have less food than before, especially the sweet and sour chicken. A recent negative is that the egg rolls have been hard as rocks lately, with a multi-layered wrapper that is practically inedible. It can be a little hard to find since it is on the back side of North Brook Mall.
