“I stayed at the lodge three nights for a family reunion. The rooms on the upper floor facing east seem to have the best views. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I had breakfast the last day at Carl’s; it was comparable prices to what you’d get in town and I enjoyed it. Would be interested to come back in the fall and try the rope course and ice skating.“

“Shout out to Brian and Team with BW'S Pub & Grill and Main Street Grub for catering our Channel Nebraska appreciation dinner on 8/21. The steak sandwiches, cheese potatoes, sweet chili green beans, and salad were spot on and enjoyed by all of our guests. We finished the meal with Dave’s Cakes of Omaha cupcakes, and again savored by all in attendance. Thanks to you all for making our meal amazing! “This little gem is a great place to grab some lunch or dinner. Always greeted with a smile, large portions, and yummy food. The new management is doing a great job. I like to take drives out from Lincoln to explore our surrounding communities for lunch, and this is a nice add to the drives.“

“Like you would expect, Madsen's is a good, wholesome bar and grill. Food and service gets a 5 star review. Got the burger and chicken sandwich. Wife gave a 3 thumbs up on the chicken sandwich... good portion... nice and juicy, etc. Go there.“

“Stopped in after a long day of shopping so that we could catch the last half of the Chiefs game and grab some grub. We were (surprisingly) able to find a table pretty quickly. We were so indecisive while ordering, which is weird because it's one of our favorite places, but our server, Collin, was super patient and gave an excellent recommendation of the garlic buffalo sauce for my wife's chicken sandwich.
Our food was excellent, as always. There was a slight goof on the number of wings I ordered/received, not a big deal at all. Collin and the staff handled it like pros and went above and beyond to make it right. We were so excited to eat we forgot to get pics of our food and cold leftovers in a styrofoam box won't do it justice 😆

I wish we had Runza in Minnesota. I hopped off the freeway when I saw the sign. San Diego here I come! But first, we Runza! My brother is so jealous right now.“
