“The perfect example of the local cafe you've been looking for! Lots of customers but a booth or table is available. Crowd is mostly local. The hot beef sandwich is made with a roast she cooked today- not deli meat. The mashed potatoes are homemade. Large portions with sides so the 1/2 hot beef ( or other options) is just right if you are less hungry. The Philly beef steak sandwich was full of roasted peppers and onions with beef and cheese and seasoned just right . The hoagie bun soft. Server very helpful. The cafe has daily specials- come early because the specials are popular and may be gone! VERY reasonable priced!“

This place here is a very relaxing welcoming environment, the food is always top-notch the drinks are always top-notch and the service is that of what you deem extraordinary! It is definitely one of them places to put on your list if you want to have a nice night out add an affordable price, with excellent customer service and appreciation! If you want a great waitress ask for Natasha or Jen, if you want a great bartender ask for Chelsea. And then there's the kitchen manager guy that's pretty awesome himself All in All Good people good environment and a good place to enjoy yourself!“

“Kudos to the chef! Our food was delicious! We asked ribeye, steak, pork chops, and teriyaki steak, all cooked to perfection and flavors were great! However, my four stars review is due the service. My server was polite BUT it wouldn’t let us finish talking and she took a salad my son was still eating from in her rush!“

“We spent the day driving the Sandhills Hghwy 2 through Nebraska ending up Sunday night in Broken Bow. We had little hope of a great meal. Most eateries were closed. In fact, at 7 pm, TripAdvisor even said Bonfire was closed but as we drove by we saw activity so in we went. It wasn't crowded and was a pleasant restaurant and bar. We each ordered glass of wine, a reasonable Cabernet and Pinot. We shared the salmon dinner with the veggie du jour and a baked potato. The fish was excellent and well cooked, the veggies lovely and the baked potato fine as well. It was a meal beyond our expectations for the evening. And we then completed dinner with a good creme brulee. Service was friendly but a bit spotty, but it hardly marred the meal“
