“Pizza Palace has the best gluten free pizza I’ve had! The sauce is flavorful and the cheese never ends! I’m allergic to wheat and I’m highly sensitive so I am always hesitant to step outside of my safety zone when trying new foods. I had NO issues or reaction when eating the gluten free pizza! 10/10 recommend!! Great job!“

“Decided to skip the interstate for a bit and enjoy the rural roads on our way to Colorado, and I’m so glad we did. We stumbled across this little diner and it instantly felt familiar.

There was an adorable group of women gathered for their morning coffee clutch, laughing and visiting, and it reminded me that small-town life exists far beyond Wisconsin. It genuinely felt a little like home.

Even the tiny orange juice glass was adorable. 😂 The whole place had that friendly, clean, homey diner vibe you hope to find on a road trip. We chatted with the owner, felt completely welcomed, and never once felt judged despite looking like a couple of hippies who had basically climbed out of bed, dressed for comfort, and hit the road for a very long drive.

And yes, we’re still leaving little ducks along the way. 🦆

“My Cyndee and I went to Burwell NE today to pick up an item I won on an internet auction. We had lunch at the Northside Bar and Grill, great food and a friendly crowd, Cyndee had the special, a hot Roast Beef Sandwich, mashed potatoes with gravy, corn, and apple cobbler. I had a Ruben sandwich. She did give me a couple of bites of the cobbler. Fantastic place.“
