“Yum! Forgot to take photo before we dug in and ate half our meal. Been here many times before and everything is scrumptious! Homestead Bakery and Cafe in Firth Nebraska is well worth the drive from Lincoln. Oreo Cheesecake and Pecan Caramel rolls( homemade everything), Tacos with chips and Queso Cheese dip, and Pastrami with smoked hamburger sandwich; and Chicken Tortilla soup with chips.(sorry I ate that too fast). Last but not least. Superb service. Feels like family. I recommend all menu items. Each visit we tried new ones and were never disappointed.Wheelchair accessibility: Enough“

“I play poker here (FREE poker, so cops, don't go raiding the place) on Sunday evenings and have found the owners and staff some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. The food is good, the prices are fair and I'd recommend this place to anyone who remembers what a "neighborhood bar" used to mean.“
