They still have a 1970s style refrigerated salad bar, that has a nice selection of things on it and the items look great.
If you are near by, stop in, you will be warmly greeted and brought a good meal. Not frilly chain stuff, straight forward, fill your stomach and the price wont scare you...........“

“Great place to eat! Wonderful salad bar, good prime rib, service is fast and friendly and they are not overpriced. We did not try the desserts this time as the meal was plenty, but look forward to going back to try them next time.“

“stopped in tonight like we usually do for wings every Wednesday I didnt even catch the girls name who went over to our table because my 4 year old is a picky eater and we had got McDonald's for her so she can eat there, because when we've got her food from Balz she will not eat anything, she rudely told us we couldn't have outside food and of course I wasnt going to have my 4 year old daughters food thrown away or not have her eat while the 3 of us ate. We surely will not be back and make sure to tell our friends who started going to Balz because of us to go back.“

“This is a review of the small restaurant inside the airport at Grand Island NE. The airport is small with not a great number of flights. So they open to cater mainly to departing passengers. Arriving passengers may not be able to have a meal after arrival. Just be aware. The staff and service were great. Some of the best airport food I have eaten from a sandwich type place. The price was more like a normal restaurant than airport overpriced food.“

“We went Friday eve & they were Packed! Didn’t think wld be able to eat & make our movie but Jess was very great at controlling the situation & getting everyone a seat as soon as able. She even went out of her way to keep us happy by getting a drink brght from bar for me while we waited. After seated service was great, fast & food well cooked & delicious! Needless to say, we made our movie on time with full bellies!! Thank u!!“

“Wow, that was a nice surprise. An unassuming biker bar look from the outside. Walk in, and it's all local family and friends, eating the best home made food in the area. Known for their daily specials and ridiculously great pizza. I can't overstate the pizza qualities. Get off the main drag that is highway 281. Take Old Potash Highway West and find a very relaxed place to feel at home.

We had family in from out of town and had a large party- called ahead to give them a heads up and were rudely informed “we don’t take reservations” - we were not trying to make a reservation, we trying to give them a heads up - whatever. When we checked out the lady at the register hardly spoke to us and when we ask for a muffin to take home she proceeded to sack up a muffin for us - without any conversation whatsoever - then she decided to fill the cinnamon rolls before bringing out muffin to us and ringing up or ticket. Still not a word she gives my 86 year old Mom her change and say “have a good day”. My take on this Perkins -Great wait staff and food - crabby , inpatient, unhappy front of the house.“

“The last time I had come here was about 5 months ago and I was quite unsatisfied. The shorter lady who's name I believe started with a M did not provide the expected service, however the Market Grille has really turned itself around from what I experienced during my most recent visit. I was immediately taken care of by the sweet girl with the lip piercings and although she was running a lot she still provided quick service and would help immediately when asked. The food was brought to us very quickly and we watched as she would bring out food, clean tables, help customers, and do side task as if she had unlimited stamina! The food quality was great and we made sure to leave a good tip for the young lady that made the experience worth coming back!“
