“GREAT neighborhood bar. If you are tired of brightly lit, cold, loud bars filled with 100 TVs playing all different sports, and instead would like more of a “Cheers” bar kind of bar… where the locals go to hang out, unwind and just relax with a cold beer or cocktail, then I would definitely recommend Glass Bar. It may not look like much from the outside… but on the inside we were warmly welcomed, promptly attended to and were able to hang out with friends (and actually hear each other speak ), play a game of pool, darts or pinball. We were just passing thru town on vacation… but when we are in the area again… we will definitely be back!“

“A great place with a "Cheers" type atmosphere. Always expect to see and hear "Norm" come in. There is one hard set rule... no "F-bombs" or variation of that word. Just be respectful and enjoy the place.“

“Cool place to hang. One of the oldest bars in Grand Island. Crowded in the evenings. Classic bar on one side, booths on the other. Still remember, Dad took me in there 55 years ago. Was owned by Ed and Netty Ruff for years. Hasn't changed much.“

“One of my favorite bars in Grand Island to go to. Fast friendly service. It was my first time there but they made me feel like a regular. Everyone was nice and having a great time. It was the kind of bar expiernce you hope for when going out at night. There is 1 dartboard and 1 pool table. The staff is awesome.“

“I just have to take a moment to say thanks! We were just stopping for the night in Grand Island and didn't want fast food, so we found this near our hotel and got carry out. I was so pleasantly surprised! First, the service was amazing. I can't eat dairy and the person who took our order gladly looked it up for me. The butterfly shrimp basket with cocktail sauce was delicious! When we arrived to pick up our order, the dining room was full of happy locals. Service was prompt and friendly, and everything was reasonably priced. Do yourself a favor and stop here instead of a chain!“

“We stopped for breakfast while travelling. Wanted to find a local spot, and really enjoyed our food and service. We both got the Palace omelet with hash browns. The omelet ingredients were perfectly cooked and the hashbrowns were crispy. Our waitress was super friendly. Would definitely return!“

“It was 11:55 and I knew they closed at 12am. I had called and asked if there was any way we could still order anyways. They waited for us. The service was fast and the gal that took our order was super friendly. Our food was amazing. Pricing was reasonable as well. I got the 5 street tacos for $13 and some change after tax. I highly recommend. Thank yall for taking our order so late!“
