“An evening out with friends Saturday. We ventured and found Hallam Steakhouse, we did not call ahead to reserve a table, however, a short wait with drinks at the bar and very friendly and funny bartender! The wait for a table was minimal, less than 20 minutes, and a couple of hostess announced celebrations that included the whole steakhouse crowd to join in singing Happy Birthday and a round of applause for another couple celebrating their 67th wedding anniversary! The interactive friendly staff was fun and kept the mood light amongst all patrons! Classic cheese balls appetizer with ranch and marinara! 12 and 16 oz Ribeye Steaks with mushrooms, chicken fried steak and grilled chicken with bacon were out table choices! Including a trip to the salad bar with potato salad, pea salad, pickled beets, and all the salad toppings! The GOOD HOMEMADE ranch! Our waitress team kept our drinks full and brought ice water promptly, checking on our table often with a smile! The staff took the time to listen and we could tell the waitresses, bartended and hostess/manager enjoy their work and wanted to be there! We will be back for another adventure! “I can not thank Mike, Jeff and the Hallam Station Bar staff enough for accommodating our 40th Birthday Party celebration. Three days prior to our event we learned that our original venue had been shutdown. Mike and Jeff were able to accommodate our band and our 20+ headcount. They were extremely flexible and understanding. The Hallam Station ended up being a much better venue than our original one and we look forward to enjoying more drinks, food and friends at this location in the future.“

“There are almost no businesses in tiny Clatonia NE. Sheila's is the only bar and restaurant. It's new. It's big. The bar is in front with many tables of varying sizes in the back. It was hoping the night we were there.A shuffleboard league was going on while people also played pool. There was music and the stools at the bar were full.I should have gotten our waitress name. She was very attentive.We had full meals. We went for the chicken fried steak which we had heard was excellent and it was. So was the white gravy smothering it and the mashed potatoes.Would do again.“

“This is the bast damn bar that you've probably never heard of. Small town feel, big city appeal. Staff is amazing, great food, and liveisic most weekends. What are you waiting for? Stop reading this and go check it out for yourself!“

“When we walked in they were almost full, there was only 2 gals working. We worried about how long it would take. I am so glad to say i worried for nothing! They were excellent. The food was prompt and taste amazing. Those ladies do such an amazing job that i can't wait to drive out there for dinner again!“
