“Dragon Cafe offers an extensive menu of both Chinese and Japanese cuisine. There are numerous salads, soups and appetizers to go either the main course options. Many items come in two sizes, for lunch or for dinner. There is a nice luncheon sushi discount as well on about a dozen popular rolls.Service is friendly but can become slow when they are short staffed, which was the case on my most recent lunchtime visit. The atmosphere is much more pleasant and relaxed than at most area Chinese storefront restaurants.I have always loved the food, which has been consistently good since they first opened maybe two decades ago. I like mixing it up between the Chinese and Japanese menu selections. There is something sure to please almost anyone on their menu.“

“This is some of the best Chinese I've had in years and so friendly and kind as well! We asked for our general chicken extra spicy as we do most places but they actually delivered ! Everything else was amazing as well. These eggs rolls are delicious as heck. We will definitely be back !“

“First the Good: probably the best Crab Rangoon in town! Perfect. I got shrimp egg fu yung, the shrimp were BIG and tasty. My wife ordered Beef&Broccoli w/ added veggies - veggies were perfectly cooked and beef was tender and flavorful.Next - stuff that wasn't to my liking, but might be to yours: the egg fu yung patties were very thick. I prefer thinner. The dipping sauce for potstickers was thickened - weird but tasty. Also, the sauce on both the egg fu yung and B&B were very very sweet.Finally - stuff that we didn't like: the hot & sour soup was over-thickened, no heat at all, and needed more vinegar. The pot stickers were totally forgettable. The fried rice side was very plain - no flavor.Overall - it was OK. I prefer more authentic styles of Chinese, but I recognize that in addition to "Szechuan", "Cantonese", "Mandarin" et.al, "American" is IMHO a valid category ;)The place was very clean, everyone was very friendly. It's very casual - paper cups, throw-away plates etc. If you prefer "American Style" chinese, fast, casual - this is a good spot for that. If you are looking for authentic traditional dishes - this place will not be for you. But definitely get the Crab Rangoon!“

“The food is amazing! I can't bring myself to eat anywhere else when we drive to Omaha. The staff is friendly and well trained. I see people complaining about the menu not always being available when the head chef isn't there. I see that as a true example of how passionate these guys are about their food, they won't even prepare a dish unless they know it will be perfect! 5 Stars! Best restaurant in Omaha.“

“Gyro rice comb was delicious; meat moist and seasoned well. Rice was fluffy and tasty, and veggies were good. Portion was huge. Baklava was one of the best I had. Homemade and not overly sweet. Great customer service. Family owed, and they really take pride.“

“We always get take out & it’s always delicious, my husband & I are not big rice people so we love that we can substitute the lo mein noodles! His favorite is the general tso’s & I love their firecracker chicken. Usually takes 45min-1hr for food to be ready on the weekends so be prepared for that when ordering, highly recommend! Staff is always friendly despite it always being busy!“

“Longstanding Omaha staple. Milton’s chicken is one of my favorite dishes anywhere. Generous portions of higher grade chicken served with asparagus, onions, and red peppers in a flavorful sauce. I do not include the mushrooms which come with the dish. Served with steamed rice and miso soup. Consistently a top notch meal at a reasonable price.“

“Our favorite place food is always delicious, fast, and good value for the price. Only thing I wish is for more gluten free options for my gluten free friends. There are gluten free options on the menu but I feel like they're missing out on some of the best recipes when we all get together. Still, this is the best place in Omaha and we've been dining here since I was a child. No other place can compare“

“From the start, my experience was so pleasant. The hostess, I believe her name was Megan, greeted us right away and chatted with us as she took us to our table. The waitress (can’t remember her name) was quick and efficient while making us feel at home. Great food and service. Will dine again!“

“I ordered my food through Uber eats so I can not comment on service nor atmosphere just the food. I had 3 sushi rolls (Spicy Tuna, Spicy Salmon and California). They were some of the best sushi rolls I’ve had in a long time (pre-Covid). And I have been to a lot of sushi places around town. I also had the Tempura Fried Cheesecake for dessert. It was all very delicious. I will definitely be ordering from them again. Try them out. You’ll thank yourself later.“

Very good for the price! -Mongolian beef is very good. -Egg foo young might not be what you expect for egg foo young- it's not an omelet, it's deep fried egg and vegetables and meat in patties. Very good but not what you might expect from the name. The Bad: -Flower Steak is very bad, too thick and cold inside because of being so thick. “This was my first time trying this restaurant and it was pretty good. I ordered delivery and it was still hot, which was cool. I tried the chicken with hot garlic sauce and fried rice, not too shabby. The eggroll was a little too oily for me but I'd eat here again and try their crab rangoons to see if those are better. Decent prices, lots of veggies in my dish and plenty of sauce?“

“Ordered on a Saturday around 5, food was ready 15 minutes later. Fast turn around and pleasant staff. I had the Sweet & Sour Chicken meal that comes with choice of soup (Hot and Sour or Egg Drop), appetizer (egg roll or crab rangoon), and then rice (white or fried). I had the Hot & Sour soup-- it's spicy, which I like and filled with those yummy extras that give it texture. Then the Crab Rangoon-- very crispy and a nice amount of filling. The filling is a little sweet, but the outside is a little salty, so it was a nice balance. Then the Sweet & Sour Chicken was delicious. The chicken was still juicy, and the outside coating crispy and not too thick. The red sauce was the perfect accompaniment for my fried rice and the meat. Fried rice has a nice flavor on its own, too. It's takeout only in the small but quaint shop, so order and go pick up a delight tonight!“

“LOVE this place! And both of my picky kids love it. We get the same thing every time. Broccoli Beef combo, Sesame Chicken combo, Dragon meets Phoenix. Two orders of crab rangoons egg drop soup. With three drinks that comes to about $50. 100% worth it for the amount of food we get. I love the foil containers the food comes in. And I have to say I get Dragon meets Phoenix everywhere I go and I believe this is by far the best place.“

“My hubby and I went here tonight for a quiet dinner for two. The staff was super friendly, we were checked on frequently and they answered all our questions before we ordered. I ordered the beef stir fried rice noodles and my hubby ordered the sautéed string beans. Both were great but I LOVED the green beans. They were still crisp and full of flavor. I plan to order those again next time. I also ordered the custard buns. They were the perfect custard to dough ratio and just the right amount of sweet to hit the spot. We will definitely be back!“

“My family and I had dinner here 2/11/2023 and the food was AMAZING. The entire restaurant is clean, very neat and orderly. The waiter kept our glasses filled with fresh water, and took the dirty plates quickly. This is for us, one of the BEST Chinese buffets in Omaha. The salad bar was fantastic, FRESH, everything. They offered so many classic dishes, and some new ones. The baked Salmon was so tender and tasty. We will be coming back, thank you very much.“
