“If you haven’t gone, you’re missing out! We were passing through and needed to eat, looked them up on yelp and could tell their food looked good! So glad we found Hometown Pizza! They had tons of gluten free options and delicious burgers, pizza, and tots. The owner is SO nice and made us feel at home. Books and coloring for our son, along with tuning into the Mike Tyson fight! We will be back!“

This unassuming local eatery delivers the kind of comfort and quality that only comes from doing things right. I ordered the Sicilian chef salad, thin crust sausage and peppers pizza, and it arrived exactly the way it should: salad fresh and pleasing with perfect dressing, Pizza – crisp-edged, hot, with perfectly balanced layers of savory sausage, sweet peppers and enough char. There’s nothing flashy here – just hospitality done right, a warm welcome, and food that respects tradition. If you are any where near Papillion and craving something real, this is a table worth sitting at. As a side note – I also ordered the Sicilian sub, saving it for the next day’s lunch – and it didn’t disappoint. hearty, well layered, and full of bold flavor. It held up beautifully overnight.“

“I know Godfather’s pizza. Whether or not the Godfather himself knows it, not all Godfather’s locations are the same. Some are better than others. I THOUGHT I knew the best location. This location is making me reconsider. I judge based on 2 pies: straight-up cheese and the beloved taco pizza. The crust, the sauce, the cheese…exactly as they should be. My only gripe with the taco pizza is that I did not order a large, but that’s on me. Pricey? Yeah, but when it’s this good, it’s worth every penny. I give you the Schwarzenegger - I’ll be back.“
