Michael's Cantina | Mexican Reviews
We visited Michael's Sunday as we have always enjoyed the Michael's in Omaha and want to enjoy the enchiladas in Norfolk that are close to what we use to get in Omaha. We have visited the Norfolk location since Omaha's location closed.
Sunday was a bad experience. The bean dip has gotten more and more watery as time has passed. WE can live with this but would pay more money for a thicker base.

terrible service, rude comments because we left, I will not go back or reccomend this place to anyone
Set a reservation with a Cici(not sure how to spell it) and was told it was all good and said NOTHING about a deposit. Get there on the dot for the reservation, no clue we were coming and demands we need $75 for a shared room? The server was EXTREMELY rude when we were trying to get clarification. Told us to take our service somewhere and we did! I have ran my own restaurant and that was a horrible experience overall. Hope that server has a better night!

Michael's Cantina in Norfolk, Nebraska offers a fun and authentic Mexican experience with flavorful food and a lively atmosphere. The menu features generous portions of favorites like beef/shrimp fajitas, enchiladas, and tacos, including crispy homemade flour taco shells that are highly praised. The combo platter is large, so ordering A la carte is recommended for lighter appetites. The chips and salsa are fresh and served quickly, complementing the delicious dishes. The lime margarita is on point, and drinks like Daiquiri's and Grasshopper are also tasty. While the restaurant lacks on tap options for popular beers like Dos Equis or Modelo, they do have them in bottle format. The service is friendly and prompt, with a waitress earning special praise. Overall, Michael’s Cantina is a great spot for flavorful Mexican food, refreshing drinks, and a warm, welcoming environment.
