First time patrons. I realized we were coming in at the dinner rush but was off put by going in the side room with multiple tables with large parties. Super loud and could barely hear my girlfriend talk to me on our date. The waitress was very sweet but didnt know anything about cocktails and had to ask the bartender. Small portions, had the blackened red fish which was good. Collard greens was one side and it was almost none existent, two bites... Cant even remember what the other side was so that says a lot about that. 2 hrs later I was looking for a snack. I wouldn't go back, although the food was good... Not something special, just because the value of what you get vs what you pay.
Simply put, Shucks is the best. Doesn’t matter the time, doesn’t matter the location, these guys have made dining out an art form. Another incredible meal tonight. Ordered an app, a salad, a kids meal and two entrees all came out ridiculously fast, in proper order and waters were always topped. Every element of the meal in terms of flavor, temperature and preparation(most food was ordered gluten free.) was spot on. Just like the Pacific location, every employee was running...
