“The wait staff is horribly slow, 10 minutes from when we were seated till a waiter showed up to greet us and get a drink order. they were too busy talking in the back. sat night 6pm and only at maybe 25% capacity so it was not busy, they had enough staff. The staff just doesn't care. I had to go to the bar repeatedly to get my coke refilled. The empty tables near us went unbussed for an hour. The waitstaff have no personality, no energy. it's depressing to go here. The foods fine, nothing memorable. it's just a waste of time. Management need to fire the waitstaff and start over. The only positive is a full glass of wine“

“I would like to thank Block 16 for helping my unintentional bulking phase that lasted for 2 years when I lived downtown. This unique spot was my go-to for lunch and dinner whenever I was feeling too lazy to cook at my apartment. Beware - If you follow them on social media the temptation to head over will overwhelm you as they post their new food creations throughout the week. Some of the food posts seem like they are concocted by a mad scientist, other limited time menu items are staples in the food world, but just done better. The common theme here is everything I have ever ordered is top notch. Block 16 is one of the more unique places to eat in Omaha, and anytime I have friends from out of town ask for a recommendation, I point them this direction as a downtown option. Block 16 isn't scared to bend the rules of what french fries should be topped with and they certainly don't worry about the logistics of stuffing a full entree into a sandwich. They are lovers of food and their menu that varies throughout the month reflects that. They have some staple items that are always available but there are new things to try out almost every time you go. The only thing I could give some criticism on is dining-in can be a little tough sometimes with their setup but this is more due to the popularity of the place and limited dining space. But let's be honest, you go here for the food, not the tables.“

“What an amazing dining experience!! We had a party of 7 and our waitress was just phenomenal. She was on top of everything throughout the meal. And such a relaxed atmosphere with high end food. To say the food was excellent is an understatement. The flavors were impeccable and everything went together perfectly. From appetizers, salads, soup, main course and dessert- each bit was melt in your mouth deliciousness. And their drink menu is perfect for anyone's taste. Classic to innovative- their drinks are sure to satisfy. I would definitely recommend trying Cibo Vino out. We will definitely be stopping by again!“

“I was in a pickle today with my catering order being canceled without prior knowledge. I walked in to Potbelly and was greeted with kindness by Zane. I shared my predicament with another sandwich location and how I was in urgent need of 15 sandwiches. Zane, Jesse, Betty & Ian took care of me right away. They procured 2 sandwich boxes in under 20 minutes. I was able to make my meeting and take care of my customers without missing a beat. The team at Potbelly really went above and beyond. I greatly appreciate them and will certainly be back!!“

“Most of the menu looks great. The chicken was top notch. The southern catfish was okay. The shrimp was great (but it was popcorn, which was a pleasant surprise). Stuffed mushrooms, great. Chicken fried steak was awesome.

“We had our rehearsal dinner at Jams Old Market in downtown Omaha. We were able to rent the Loft 204 upstairs for our event. My husband and I loved the venue from the very beginning! The exposed brick walls, the privacy for our event, and the ability to see where we got engaged were all big aspects we were looking for! The bartender was amazing. The food was even better! It truly felt like a dream come true from the moment we walked through the door. Jams was accommodating for our littles and provide our family with a delicious meal the night before our wedding day. Our daughter eats gluten-free for health reasons and we hadn't planned for lunch and just expected we'd have to get her a fruit cup or something. She was absolutely ecstatic to realize they have gluten-free chicken strips and their fryers are gluten free, not only that there were gluten free pastries that were super tasty. This honestly was the best part of our entire 4-day trip to Omaha for her and she begged us to go back for every meal which we were not able to do. “Williamsburg Pizza is true authentic New York Style Pizza in Nebraska. There are many wonderful pizza establishments in the Omaha area, but for a slice of East Coast flavor I'd take this one. The crust, sauce and cheese are superb. These owners know pizza.“

“Lighthouse has some of the best food I've ever had at a bar & grill. The El Diablo pizza is by far my favorite item on the menu although over the numerous times me and my friends have come here we have yet to find anything that wasn't positively delicious. The servers are all friendly and care about making sure you have a good time and experience while you're here and the atmosphere, at least around dinner and lunch time is always lively and great. I can't recommend them enough!“
