The atmosphere was perfect, the service was top-notch, and the hospitality made everyone feel right at home. They opened especially for us, making the night even more special. “GREAT neighborhood bar. If you are tired of brightly lit, cold, loud bars filled with 100 TVs playing all different sports, and instead would like more of a “Cheers” bar kind of bar… where the locals go to hang out, unwind and just relax with a cold beer or cocktail, then I would definitely recommend Glass Bar. It may not look like much from the outside… but on the inside we were warmly welcomed, promptly attended to and were able to hang out with friends (and actually hear each other speak ), play a game of pool, darts or pinball. We were just passing thru town on vacation… but when we are in the area again… we will definitely be back!“
“Cool place to hang. One of the oldest bars in Grand Island. Crowded in the evenings. Classic bar on one side, booths on the other. Still remember, Dad took me in there 55 years ago. Was owned by Ed and Netty Ruff for years. Hasn't changed much.“
“On a road trip from England and staying at the hotel opposite when a fellow guest,Dan, suggested we visited BTs. From the minute we walked in we felt we had been going there for years. Made so welcome thanks to deb. Brilliant people, fantastic atmosphere, we were sorry we had to leave . “I was there on a Saturday night and even though busy we were seated right away and food was not long to wait . The staff was really on point with everything while having to hustle.
