“I can not thank Mike, Jeff and the Hallam Station Bar staff enough for accommodating our 40th Birthday Party celebration. Three days prior to our event we learned that our original venue had been shutdown. Mike and Jeff were able to accommodate our band and our 20+ headcount. They were extremely flexible and understanding. The Hallam Station ended up being a much better venue than our original one and we look forward to enjoying more drinks, food and friends at this location in the future.“

I’ve met some awesome people while hanging out at this establishment, and I’m sure I’ll make more! The live music can be a little loud, but doesn’t it feel great to be supporting local musicians? And they support local artists too! You can buy the art you see on the walls.“

“I phoned a week before the date we wanted to make reservation. Trevor was very nice and said I could reserve a long table for up to 15 guests. I verified number of guests and called a couple days before arriving on the 24th to confirm the number attending. We were very impressed with Trevor and the quality of food was outstanding.. I had the beer macaroni and cheese and loved it. A couple people had Rueben's and were equally impressed. Burgers and chicken strips were large. I was impressed with nice side salad. The salmon was beautifully plated too. Highly recommend coming to the Mettle Grill. You will not be disappointed The only downside was the chairs were very heavy and if you put gliders on chair legs it would make it easier for an older group to move the chairs. Trevor was very pleasant and efficient. Will definitely return.“

“I actually can’t believe I’m just now leaving a review because this has been my husband and my favorite place to eat besides home for years. We love cooking but when we want to go out to eat, this is pretty much the only place we go. Because it’s consistently outstanding. We tend to be disappointed by other restaurants and Piedmont has amazing consistent waitors and hosts that we recognize and that recognize us and amazing consistent chefs. The menu is a lot of fun. We always get the spinach gouda dip and I order the filet and my husband gets the ribeye or the duck !“

“One of Lincolns great neighborhood bars. Located just off S. 33rd and Stockwell St. This small bar is generally always half full. It’s dark inside so let your eyes adjust to its sultry ambience. The drinks are great and always lean towards the slightly stiff side. Service is great. They have an attached liquor store that can be convenient if the situation is ripe for more drinks at home.“

“Great experiences every time we go. This visit was no exception. We started our evening at Ollie and Hobbs where we were promptly ignored for 15 minutes. We wanted to try something new but boy was that a mistake. After 15 minutes of being walked past, we decided to walk over to Charred where we were immediately sat. We were greeted by our server with a minute of sitting down, we got our drinks and appetizer ordered. Our drinks came in less than a minute and our appetizer took about 7. We were greeted my another server and a manager during our dinner. Our food was delicious, the cheesy fried pickles are always a hit!
Overall just incredibly friendly and attentive staff and delicious food.
We will never make the mistake of going next door again!“

“French fries were good. Beef dip too. The chicken strips, the chicken itself was good but the coating was tasteless and had too much of it on them. We did like the bar set up, a lot of ?. The turkey club shouldn't have been put under the heat lamp either. The cheese curds were good.“
