“Went here for the 4th of July 2024. They had a couple blocks shut down so people could light fireworks. Then they had a local guy light off a bunch. Best fireworks show I've seen in a long time!! Better than some professional ones I've gone to!! Definitely recommend Max's bar in Thayer, NE. for fourth of July celebrations. They also serve food and drinks. Had a bunch of free food for the Fourth of July party. Great time in a tiny little town in the middle of nowhere. Great people, good food, good times for anyone looking for a small town bar.

“Classic chicken sandwich fresh and delicious. my husband always says the taco salad is his favorite. I'm writing to let the manager know and headquarters know that we were delighted to make the acquaintance of an employee, Chase (Mr C). He took our order perfectly and made polite, friendly, and funny conversation with us as we waited. He impressed me and every other customer with whom he interacted. This is one of the nicest Wendy's with the nicest people I've ever encountered. Just wanted to aen kudos to this manager and this particular employee.”

“OMG!!! This place is fabulous 👌 The staff was very friendly, sweet, and helpful. They were on top of everything. The food was great. My husband ordered the chicken strips and they actually went out of their way and made two strips without the breading for our two dogs. I would recommend this place to anyone who is traveling through there. I hope we get back here soon.”

“I love this Starbucks. We always stop when we are traveling along the I80 corridor, which is reasonably often. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, and nothing is too much trouble for them. The facilities are always clean, the coffee is always wonderful (gas station coffee sucks - I can't tell you what a blessing it is for a bean-head to have an easily accessible gourmet coffee bar on hand while traveling!) and if my family needs snacks and drinks, I know I can trust the quality and nutrition that Starbucks stands behind with what they serve. I always look forward to our York, NE stop!!?☕️”

“I’m am not a fan of breakfast food, so this is my favorite stop on my way through Nebraska. I didn’t catch her name, but she works the morning shifts. She is very friendly, willing, and is always smiling. At 8am I ordered a cheese pizza and she kindly made one. It only takes 7 minutes. I really appreciated how nice she was to me.”

“I really enjoy this applebees. It is always busy for a reason. Its a good place to eat at. I think for most people it is difficult to find because it is located inside a hotel. Their beer cheese soup pretzel is their best menu item. The burgers are pretty dang good!”

“After parking my RV at the Walmart next door, I walked over to this KFC and found that the lobby was closed due to maintenance. So I walked up to the drive-thru window and asked for a bit of an unusual order. Both the gentleman at the window and his boss were very helpful with my order. And they told me it was Tuesday so I got a discount. And most importantly, the chicken tasted great. Thanks guys!”
