“Lived in Auburn for over 20 years; the Auburn Tavern was always good. Went back last night for the first time in several years during our visit from our home in Florida. Haven't had a more pleasant dining experience in a long time. Whom ever is running it now is doing a great job. The single Prime Rib my wife and I shared was more then enough for both of us and Really Rare, as requested. Never had any wait for any request. Topped off with an excellent desert selection. “Wow. Truly top flight Indian/Nepalese/Himalayan cuisine in Manchester. What a win! I've long told friends that the one culinary shortcoming of New Hampshire, around me, at least, is good Indian. Well KS isn't good, it's excellent! We sampled cauliflower 69 (if I recall the number correctly app), veggie korma, Goan fish curry, saag paneer and garlic naan. All were as good as I've ever had anywhere. I specifically asked that the cauliflower be NOT sweet (as it usually is) and they happily complied. Savory and with just a bit of heat. The saag was smooth and creamy and the paneer of just the right texture. Goan fish curry has a unique flavor profile and they nailed it. The veggie korma had a nice variety of veggies and the sauce was creamy and mild, just the way our friend likes it. Finally, the naan came hot and fragrant. If I'd known they served huge amounts of basmati rice with the entrees I wouldn't have ordered two but, oh well, just more food for us as leftovers - no way I was going to leave all that good sauce behind. And food as well - the servings were generous and we couldn't even visualize finishing it all at one sitting. For sure, we're going to be regulars going forward.“
“I went to the Crown Restaurant with a friend in the early evening, since the restaurant we had planned to go to was closed. I am so glad it was! We loved the atmosphere with the beautiful inlay floor, and tasteful setup with the bar and cooking area in designated areas. The atmosphere was alive with chatter and was just a happy place to be. My friend and I each had our own handmade pizza. Enough to share but you might want your own to take some slices home! She had a pizza with veges and garlic sauce. I had a mushroom pizza with delicious soft spreadable garlic, arugula and with truffle salt. (The last pizza on the menu. I would get it again.) We both loved the homemade chewy crust! Get the Cucumber Mocktail! Delicious! Don't forget the cheesecake with a berry sauce, or the caramel flan with a generous amount of raspberries. I am sure that anything you chose on the menu is going to be a tasty experience. Kudos to our waitress, Katrina T. She knew the menu and specials of the day. Great service, Katrina! “I went here early one morning before a local meeting I had on my schedule. I arrived right at 7 AM when they first opened. Service was great, friendly and attentive with large cups of coffee to wake me up. The food was cooked perfectly to order. I had the breakfast sandwich with home fries that appeared to be lightly seasoned and well cooked. Parking was available on the street and I had no problem finding a spot. I highly recommend going to Shirley's.“

Our servers were very pleasant and helpful with our questions. Being craft beer drinkers, we were pleased with the selection. In fact, I was delighted to be able to enjoy a pint of Wormtown's Blizzard of 78-one of my favorite winter brews. There is a full bar. Rob & I shared all the food we ordered so we could sample a wide variety. All were excellent. We had Braised Short Ribs, Arancini, Pecan Pear Salad, Sweet Potato Gnocchi, and still had room to share a Snickers Dessert. We chose cupcakes for our dessert, which served a dual purpose as favors. They were beautiful to look at and delicious! The maple bacon flavor was a big hit. The booking and delivery process was super easy and very affordable. Queen City was also very accommodating in regards to food allergies. “We came here as a group of 8 on Thursday night.While it was not crowded, there was a good crowd.On Thursdays, it is ladies night so drinks are half off which was so nice. We hung out near the billiards table and our waiter Bennett was super nice and checked in on us often. “I honestly never write reviews about places but I just felt compelled because of how amazing our experience was here. The atmosphere as soon as we walked in was amazing. When I walk into a place and they’re playing Sade and frank Sinatra, I knew it was going to be amazing! Starting off, I asked if they could make me a martini with vodka and a fruit as I was up for a surprise and they did not disappoint! It ended up being some sort of banana martini which was interesting and nothing short of delicious. We also got an espresso martini which was amazing as well. Next comes the food; this is tapas style people it does not all come out at the same time! Enjoy sharing the food together!! Anyways we ordered the octopus balls, truffle fries, beef tongue Reuben and BBQ pork belly. I have to say I was shocked. I don’t even have a word for the food because it was beyond spectacular. I’ve never had beef tongue before and was a bit scared to try it but it was amazing. This level of dining and experience could absolutely survive in a bigger city like New York or LA. I found the prices to be extremely reasonable given how fresh and amazing the food was. You’re getting lesser quality of food for more money elsewhere on elm! I think what made the experience most hospitable was when I believe it was the chef came out to greet us and ask how everything was! This was the most unique cuisine I’ve ever seen in the city; well worth the money in my opinion! If there’s one thing Manchester is doing right it’s birch on elm! Kudos!!“

“Went Sunday St Patrick’s Day! They had the restaurant decorated with ballon banners for St. Patrick’s Day. The Irish Flag colored ballons were great! Green vases of flowers on the table, and of course Cornbeef/Irish cuisine was designed for the day. The mimosas are cold and delicious. Parking is at a minimum, you may need to get creative but worth it. It was very busy when we got there at 9am, when we left at 10 there were plenty of seats. Service was a little behind as you can imagine with every table full. But even with that, we got waited on as quick as possible. Great breakfast place. They also have an event room for rent or I have seen them use it for restaurant over flow.“
“This is a cute little bar very close to the Manchester Airport. I think there are a lot of regulars as the bar itself was fairly crowded but there were plenty of seats in the restaurant section. Almost all of the tables are high tops which I found a little uncomfortable.I have to say that we tried this place because of a lot of the Google reviews that talked about great happy hour specials, including $5 beer pitchers.We went at 4:00 p.m. and were told they have no happy hour specials but they do have mini pitchers of beer which were the equivalent of two pints. However those were $11 each not $5. There were no food specials for happy hour.There was one server who was working the entire restaurant including the bar so she was a little rushed but extremely friendly and it made up for the wait. The food was good and the french fries were very hot which I find to be a big plus.Overall it was a nice stop and we enjoyed the evening but we're a little disappointed in that it was not the value that we were expecting.“

“Always love eating at Tuckers. Both the Hooksett and Bedford locations have amazing service. You need to call ahead for lunch and on the weekends, the wait line can get very long. Your whole party does need to be present before seating, so keep that in mind when you check in. We love trying their seasonal breakfast options, and their cheddar biscuits are absolutely worth every bite. I hope they bring back the coffee while you wait, that was so nice to sit and enjoy a coffee before getting to the table. I personally love that they locally source a lot of the food in their menu, it supports the local farmers and gives back to the community. Highly recommend if you're looking for a brunch spot!“
