“Lots of good things about Cotton. Service, Ambiance, drinks and food are all top notch. However, the Chef doesn't seem to be very innovative, the menu hasn't changed in a decade. I don't think the whole menu needs changing, but seasonal dishes would be greatly appreciated.“

“Wow. Truly top flight Indian/Nepalese/Himalayan cuisine in Manchester. What a win! I've long told friends that the one culinary shortcoming of New Hampshire, around me, at least, is good Indian. Well KS isn't good, it's excellent! We sampled cauliflower 69 (if I recall the number correctly app), veggie korma, Goan fish curry, saag paneer and garlic naan. All were as good as I've ever had anywhere. I specifically asked that the cauliflower be NOT sweet (as it usually is) and they happily complied. Savory and with just a bit of heat. The saag was smooth and creamy and the paneer of just the right texture. Goan fish curry has a unique flavor profile and they nailed it. The veggie korma had a nice variety of veggies and the sauce was creamy and mild, just the way our friend likes it. Finally, the naan came hot and fragrant. If I'd known they served huge amounts of basmati rice with the entrees I wouldn't have ordered two but, oh well, just more food for us as leftovers - no way I was going to leave all that good sauce behind. And food as well - the servings were generous and we couldn't even visualize finishing it all at one sitting. For sure, we're going to be regulars going forward.“

“I was thoroughly impressed with how our food tasted. We ordered wings to start and they were cooked perfectly and had that smoked flavor. I had brisket, mashed potatoes with gravy, and collard greens. My kids had the ribs, and pulled pork. No complaints, only happy bellies. And the cornbread is like no other! We will definitely be coming back. Our server was attentive and friendly.“

“I went to the Crown Restaurant with a friend in the early evening, since the restaurant we had planned to go to was closed. I am so glad it was! We loved the atmosphere with the beautiful inlay floor, and tasteful setup with the bar and cooking area in designated areas. The atmosphere was alive with chatter and was just a happy place to be. My friend and I each had our own handmade pizza. Enough to share but you might want your own to take some slices home! She had a pizza with veges and garlic sauce. I had a mushroom pizza with delicious soft spreadable garlic, arugula and with truffle salt. (The last pizza on the menu. I would get it again.) We both loved the homemade chewy crust! Get the Cucumber Mocktail! Delicious! Don't forget the cheesecake with a berry sauce, or the caramel flan with a generous amount of raspberries. I am sure that anything you chose on the menu is going to be a tasty experience. Kudos to our waitress, Katrina T. She knew the menu and specials of the day. Great service, Katrina! “Located in downtown Manchester, this small restaurant has a lot of personality. The bar was spacious with most tables understandably empty on a Monday afternoon. Our nachos were nothing to brag about, but my friend’s tuna appetizer looked amazing. We were both pleased with the cocktail menu and our selections. Our server was friendly and professional. Lots of choices in downtown Manchester, but I highly recommend the North End Bistro.“

“Visited from out of town. This restaurant was recommended for us to try. After getting a little off the path we finally located the restaurant. Parked out back with plenty of spots. The atmosphere was very welcoming and it seemed like a popular place to be. We started with the Fried Calamari which was very tender and tasted great with the two sauces. To drink I had the house Old fashioned and it was good compliment to the meal. For dinner I went with what was recommended, the beef short ribs. After the calamari I had high expectations for the short ribs. When the short ribs arrived, visually I will say it didn't look like a good meal (possibly the low light didnt help). But once I tasted it everything changed. This was incredible and the best short ribs I have ever had. This is a place I would travel to for this ambiance and food.“

“We used Queen City Cupcakes for our wedding on 12/8/23 and were extremely happy with our experience. Chelsea from Queen City was very prompt with her responses and the booking process was a breeze. We chose cupcakes for our dessert, which served a dual purpose as favors. They were beautiful to look at and delicious! The maple bacon flavor was a big hit. The booking and delivery process was super easy and very affordable. Queen City was also very accommodating in regards to food allergies. Overall, we would absolutely recommend Queen City Cupcakes for any event!“

“We came here as a group of 8 on Thursday night.While it was not crowded, there was a good crowd.On Thursdays, it is ladies night so drinks are half off which was so nice. We hung out near the billiards table and our waiter Bennett was super nice and checked in on us often. He even helped with ensuring another visitor had left the building because he was making others uncomfortable. I also loved the free popcorn and it was good quality popcorn! The drink I ordered was Under the Sea and enjoyed it. I would definitely come back again.“

“I honestly never write reviews about places but I just felt compelled because of how amazing our experience was here. The atmosphere as soon as we walked in was amazing. When I walk into a place and they’re playing Sade and frank Sinatra, I knew it was going to be amazing! Starting off, I asked if they could make me a martini with vodka and a fruit as I was up for a surprise and they did not disappoint! It ended up being some sort of banana martini which was interesting and nothing short of delicious. We also got an espresso martini which was amazing as well. Next comes the food; this is tapas style people it does not all come out at the same time! Enjoy sharing the food together!! Anyways we ordered the octopus balls, truffle fries, beef tongue Reuben and BBQ pork belly. I have to say I was shocked. I don’t even have a word for the food because it was beyond spectacular. I’ve never had beef tongue before and was a bit scared to try it but it was amazing. This level of dining and experience could absolutely survive in a bigger city like New York or LA. I found the prices to be extremely reasonable given how fresh and amazing the food was. You’re getting lesser quality of food for more money elsewhere on elm! I think what made the experience most hospitable was when I believe it was the chef came out to greet us and ask how everything was! This was the most unique cuisine I’ve ever seen in the city; well worth the money in my opinion! If there’s one thing Manchester is doing right it’s birch on elm! Kudos!!“

“First visit here and we love it. The place is very clean with vintage decor. Not a large place but the servings are. The pecan sticky buns are homemade, warm and gooey... A must have! Homemade hash and baked beans were excellent! Loved our first experience there, so will definitely go back.“

They were one of the only caterers within our budget, but you would never know from the quality of the food they served. The fries were outstanding. Drink selection was a bit small, I prefer fountain drinks anyway but at least they had Mexican coke. Not alot of seating and it’s really aged. “Went Sunday St Patrick’s Day! They had the restaurant decorated with ballon banners for St. Patrick’s Day. The Irish Flag colored ballons were great! Green vases of flowers on the table, and of course Cornbeef/Irish cuisine was designed for the day. The mimosas are cold and delicious. Parking is at a minimum, you may need to get creative but worth it. It was very busy when we got there at 9am, when we left at 10 there were plenty of seats. Service was a little behind as you can imagine with every table full. But even with that, we got waited on as quick as possible. Great breakfast place. They also have an event room for rent or I have seen them use it for restaurant over flow.“
