“Had to take my daughter to the Elliot and was looking for a lunch place nearby. We had some smoothies and Greek salad - all amazing.! The salad was the best we've ever had with the grilled Romaine hearts making it extra special. Next appointment is in the morning, so we'll be returning for breakfast. Can't wait!“

“I love this place! This was our second visit and I enjoyed it very much. The staff are very warm and welcoming. The salsa and chips were great, chips were warm. I ordered tacos (carnita) and those were good. I also ordered spin dip and chips to go, also great! Their Sangria is tasty, liked that as well! I will definitely be returning.“

“I’ve always loved coming here with my mom but today I decided I wanted to come by myself. Usually when I go out by myself I feel rushed and not particularly wanted by the staff. However here, the host cleaned off a table for me to skip the waitlist. I was greeted and served within 30 seconds. Im not sure if she was a manager or not but kayleigh (so sorry if I spelt that wrong) made me feel so welcome. She was so quick on her feet and positive and bubbly to me and every other table. The food and drinks are fantastic but being in the restaurant industry for as long as I have I can recognize how important good service is. I love coming here and am so grateful to have this amazing spot near me. Thank you for making me feel special!“

“I came for dinner around 5:00 p.m. with seated quickly. The service was great! The chefs were happy singing songs together.
The eggs rolls were delicious, perfectly fried and the sauce was great.
I had the green curry with tofu, it was unbearably spicy. I was only able to eat a quarter of it and had to take the rest home. I wish they would have asked me the spice level on the curry.“

I have gluten diet restrictions, and the staff is always friendly and explain to me how dishes can be altered so that I can still enjoy them. For example, removing the tempura from a spicy sushi roll makes it lose a little structure, but it's still so delicious! They also have tamari on hand!

“We have eaten at the Restoration Cafe a few times now. It is a quirky little place and it may be me but it seems to me like just another eatery that tries too hard to be different. The coffees and teas are highly specialized. They have a few traditional dishes (tuna salad, bacon and eggs) but to me there are too many dishes that they try to elevate. Some work (TAB sandwich) and some don't (grilled pumpkin bread). I had the Curry Chicken Salad which was good but the menu listed lettuce and tomato on it but the sandwich came bare. Also the popcorn that is a side to alot of the sandwiches just doesn't work. Some of my popcorn was burnt and it was either cooked in flavored oil or sprinkled with a dusting of something I could not identify ... either way the flavor was ok. Just a simple white cheddar would have been appreciated.
One final point, this is not the friendliest interior design for people with mobility issues. The only two tables that are not high tops are located in front of the restaurant on an elevated platform that has a very high step to get onto. What makes matters worse is the color of the floor. It is Grey and black and the step blends in with the floor. If you are not paying attention someone could take a nasty fall.
Overall I would say stick with the standards and enjoy.“

“I order from here all the time but it’s hit or miss on what you get. I always order beef n broccoli this time instead of a combo plate I ordered a pint and a pint of pf rice The rice was great but I got 19 pieces of broccoli n one piece of beef?? Isn’t beef the main ingredient? They should rename it broccoli n beef if you are lucky. Makes me sad to to constantly wonder I what I’m really getting for my $.“

“My husband and I went to Gauchos for a company dinner. All of the meat that was brought to the table was delicious! The waiters bringing around the meat were polite and helpful.
