“We ate lunch at Himalaya Curry House for the first time this afternoon. We highly recommend. The food was phenomenal-excellent Northern Indian cuisine. (I don’t like Southern Indian cuisine. The prices are very reasonable. The portions are very generous and we both went home with enough left over for another entire meal. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala, basmati rice spiced with Cumin. My daughter had the Black Pepper chicken, same rice and we shared a side of Aloo Gobi cauliflower florets in a spicy, creamy sauce. There was complimentary chutneys (3 different flavors served with pita crackers. My patient’s family is from Northern India and the mom cooks exquisite Indian food. Fed me home made dinner every work night. That is how I was introduced to spectacular Northern Indian food , so I have a good palate for high quality. The atmosphere is average. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful assisting us with our choices. We will definitely go back again to try different entrees. The menu is extensive!“

“Wow, we are impressed. You all are fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable all home cooked super fresh Indian food. It was absolutely wonderful. They helped with all of our choices and we got to speak to them about their culture and where they were from absolutely wonderful. We will be eating there again. The place is very clean. “We stopped at Copper Door for a family dinner after a long day at Canobie, and I have to give a HUGE shoutout to our server, Jenny, and the manager, Sherry.

Jenny was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. We had our two little girls with us after a very full day, and she was incredibly patient, kind, attentive, and genuinely sweet with them. Anyone who has taken tired kids out to dinner knows how much a server like that can completely change the experience for a family. She never made us feel rushed or like the kids were a bother. She was fantastic.

My mother ordered her steak medium rare and unfortunately it came out well done. Things happen, and honestly, it wasn’t something we were terribly upset about. But Jenny immediately apologized and handled it so professionally.

Then Sherry, the manager, came over and absolutely went above and beyond. She was warm, gracious, and immediately made sure everything was taken care of. She removed the steak from our bill and even gave us a gift card for the inconvenience, which we absolutely were not expecting.

Mistakes happen at every restaurant. What really says something about a place is how the staff responds when they do, and both Jenny and Sherry turned a small issue into an incredibly positive experience. Their level of hospitality and customer service was exceptional.

Copper Door is lucky to have them both. We will absolutely be back! ❤“

I’m also a sub connoisseur, and their Italian subs, as well as their steak n cheese is amazing! I had a ham n cheese calzone with pepperoni the other night that was my favorite calzone ever! “My daughter in law’s lovely large Khmer family really wanted to go to this restaurant! We drove from Ny and the other family members flew in from CA and drove from CT. The food was fantastic and quite flavorful. We got a real smorgasbord of various dishes that we all enjoyed. My favorites were the Khmer chicken wings-outstanding crunch and flavor (I like them better than Buffalo wings), and my absolute favorite, lemongrass chicken. Every other dish was amazing, too. We certainly want to go back here!“

My daughter’s plate from the kids menu even looked delicious, and she enjoyed every bite. “Two years ago I switched my allegiance from Haute Coffee in Concord, MA to Nibbana Cafe in Lowell. While the coffee at Haute is indeed very good (Counter Culture beans, not local), I find the staff there a bit impersonal. Seating is also quite limited. Nibbana has equally good coffee (if not better, which is really saying something), provided by Tiny Arms, a local roaster. There is plenty of seating and parking at their location at Western Avenue Studios. The coffee is generally light-to-medium roast and they offer an array of interesting, unusual coffee drinks (I only drink espresso, straight, so I can't comment on those). At the time of this review, they have been cranking out lots of new food items. The staff is extremely friendly, always offering a welcoming smile and an enthusiastic "Enjoy!" when I pick up my order. The owners truly live by what Buddhists call "right living". They are very community-focused, and it shows. If you haven't checked out Nibbana, you're really missing out on a special place.“

The customer service at the location in Malden was excellent, our waitress was so polite, personable, and the right amount of attentive. “I just went in there to get a latte and had multigrain toast. My experience was amazing and I had the server name was. Yeri and she was very prompt and courteous, and the guy who took my order was the manager. His name was Mike. I got a second latte. His name was Elvis and Cat was the person who comes by with the food. All of them were great work together and just want to give kudos in a compliment to this place. “Out of town and we always try check out the local restaurants! It was 4 of us who dined in on Sunday night and 3 out of 4 meals were excellent!! Two prime rib dinners and chicken finger dinner were amazing! The portions are huge and the rib was cooked to perfection! My husband ordered the Veal Parmesan and his meal was not so amazing. It was over cooked and too much breading. The pasta was over cooked and the sauce was way too sweet. Everything else was perfection! I would recommend trying this place out especially if you get the prime rib!! The service was spot on too!!“
