We were greeted by a very helpful and kind woman who took our order. The usual high-quality cuisine arrived promptly. Due to the nature of the task at hand, my guest and I remained there for over fifteen minutes with our laptops propped open. There was never any pressure or urgency to have us go. I didn't feel the need to bolt out the door because it wasn't very packed. Since I generally enjoy Panera eateries, I will be returning more frequently now. “Update 22 Mar 2026: Another awesome meal and this time we enjoyed it with our friends.We are huge fans of this restaurant. Unfortunately, the waitlist timer is still way off, which makes planning to get there on time a bit challenging. The first time, I joined the wait list, it showed 30-60 min but our table was ready in 10 min or so. the next time, it showed 30-60 min but our table was not ready within that time frame.

June 2025:
Since we discovered this restaurant last month we have already eaten here twice. The food, the atmosphere, the seating is so amazing and so authentically Japanese. We loved the ramen, takoyaki and pop corn chicken. Make sure to reserve in advance as they get busy even on a working Tuesday..“

“Two years ago I switched my allegiance from Haute Coffee in Concord, MA to Nibbana Cafe in Lowell. While the coffee at Haute is indeed very good (Counter Culture beans, not local), I find the staff there a bit impersonal. Seating is also quite limited. Nibbana has equally good coffee (if not better, which is really saying something), provided by Tiny Arms, a local roaster. There is plenty of seating and parking at their location at Western Avenue Studios. The coffee is generally light-to-medium roast and they offer an array of interesting, unusual coffee drinks (I only drink espresso, straight, so I can't comment on those). At the time of this review, they have been cranking out lots of new food items. The staff is extremely friendly, always offering a welcoming smile and an enthusiastic "Enjoy!" when I pick up my order. The owners truly live by what Buddhists call "right living". They are very community-focused, and it shows. If you haven't checked out Nibbana, you're really missing out on a special place.“

“My daughter in law’s lovely large Khmer family really wanted to go to this restaurant! We drove from Ny and the other family members flew in from CA and drove from CT. The food was fantastic and quite flavorful. We got a real smorgasbord of various dishes that we all enjoyed. My favorites were the Khmer chicken wings-outstanding crunch and flavor (I like them better than Buffalo wings), and my absolute favorite, lemongrass chicken. Every other dish was amazing, too.
