“The place has a nice ambiance, we had reservations and waited 20 minutes which it was strange because they had plenty of open tables. To start we ordered two apps, the beef carpaccio and the octopus. They were good but the presentation was terrible…. We also tasted some wine my red ones were good but again very sloppy pour, the glasses were sticky I he’d to send them back!. The salmon burger was good.“

“Stark House Tavern, the local watering hole. The only place where I can hate every ingredient in something and end up liking it (M-80s). The "North of the Border" tots? Immaculate. Imagine munchkins except they're mashed potatoes in a shell of deliciousness, smothered in gravy and cheese curds. Angels sing every time a plate of them gets put in front of me. The burgers? Perfect. As long as you dont order it well done like a buffoon.

My only gripe with this place is that it's not big enough but that's okay because they serve you beer in the "waiting room", which is enough to shut me up about waiting. Way better than the doctors office waiting room. My second only gripe is that I wish they had more options for Sours and Ciders, cause I love them and there's usually only 1 or 2. This is a "me" problem because I'm at Stark more than I'd like to admit, and get bored easily. They do have a good selection of Stouts, Porters and IPAs, which are essentially jet fuel in my humble opinion. The servers are also super nice! (yes I just left there a few hours ago).“

“Bar One is a great spot for a casual meal and a good time. I tried their sloppy Joe, and it was delicious—juicy, flavorful, and just the right amount of messiness. The highlight, though, was the $1 beers. It’s hard to beat that deal, and it adds to the laid-back, fun atmosphere of the place. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Whether you’re there for the food, the drinks, or both, Bar One offers a satisfying experience at a great price.“

“We’re locals and have only eaten here once or twice. Gotta tell you though, we decided to come by and have some sandwiches the other day. To say the food was great would be an understatement. The Pastrami Rueben was the best I’ve ever had. My wife had the fish sandwich, which she devoured. The freshly made potato fries could have been a meal in itself, so good.
