Picked up some goodies at the store and enjoyed the mouth watering beef brisket with yummy sides of cole slaw and broccoli salad while playing a game of checkers. And brought home homemade cider donuts for later. Check out this unique spot this summer!”

“I had a wonderful time at this café. My boyfriend and I went here during our winter getaway and let me tell you it did not disappoint. The café mocha was so pretty and delicious, the chorizo sandwich was bomb, and the atmosphere was cozy and styled with some really nice furniture and cute paper stars. Oh and the Nutella strawberry crepe was awesome. The only reason I gave a 4 for food was because I feel like the other sandwiches lacked a little in flavor. For example, if the pesto chicken sandwich had some tomatoes and balsamic glaze, it would be unstoppable. Overall, I love this place. It was a core memory of my time here in New Hampshire.”

My one complaint about the food was the hash was the least hash like I've ever eaten, while the corned beef was very good, that's literally all it was, a plate of meat, no other hash ingredients that I saw. We'll try again another time and hope for better service.”

“We went there last night with friends and we really enjoyed this place. We have lived in Bristol for 5 years and have never been here. We'll come back. What a nice cozy fire, the place is spotless (even the bathrooms were spotless, which is a pleasure in today's world) and our food and beer were great. The owner and his wife are nice people and we had a good time there. I had a "spicy" tomato soup that was more herby than spicy, with just a hint of "spicy". It was quite good and warming on a chilly evening. They offer a 4 cheese grilled cheese that is amazing with soft and gooey cheeses that was perfect to dunk in the soup. We also split their warm bread pudding with a whiskey sauce that was amazing for dessert. Nice place, nice people. My only wish was for a burger to be on the menu, but you can't always get what you want. : ) Their selection is mainly soup, salad, sandwiches and flatbreads. I think possibly they change things up now and then as specials are on a blackboard, so maybe they'll take a hint and have a burger? It's fine, though, as I really did enjoy my meal.”

“I’ve only been to Newfoundland Lake Inn a few times. I’ve only just discovered it this year. i’ve eaten once in the dining room. I loved the view. We sat at the window overlooking the porch and the lake. I thought the food was exceptional. I’ve been to the Sunday brunch twice. It’s like being on a cruise ship with all the variety anyone could ask for from fruit to several kinds of eggs, etc. there was even an omelette chef making anything you could possibly want. I had lunch with friends on the deck. They were umbrellas if we wanted shade. oh yes, I attended an evening in the barn outback. Elvis was in the building. I really don’t have a single complaint. I would recommend newfound Lake Inn for casual or special evening with friends.”

“Arrived at 5:30 on a Saturday. Lots of open tables. Waited an hour and a half for a salad and a burrito. Watched others come in, served and left before we received our order. Salad came without a key ingredient. Pleasant staff, but lousy service.”

“I just came in to get two salads for me and my girlfriend, OMFG BEST SALADS I HAVE EVER HAD! We got chicken finger salads and I can not explain how fresh and cold and lettuce was and how flavorful the chicken was. They were so busy, yet they got the food out on time and it was SO SCRUMPTIOUS. 10/10 recommended to get a salad here. Employees were so nice as well! I’m going back tomorrow!”

“Best pizza ever! Crust is airy n melts in yer mouth! They don't shy on the toppings! If u can find someone who puts more toppings on there pizza I would challenge u! My favorite pizza Pete makes is pepperoni pineapple and bacon on the top so it's crispy! N u never gotta order extra cheese cause Pete don't skimp on the cheese! This pizza is a little pricey but well worth it for the real cheese not the fake oily shit and I only gotta eat two pieces and I'm stuffed so one pizza can feed my family everywhere else gotta get two because there's no toppings!”

The food is great, you HAVE to return multiple times because the portions are going to fill you up.
