“Beautiful old hotel with excellent restaurants, but they are pricey. Rooms are small. Closet can only hold about 6 items. Grounds are beautiful, as are the views of Mt. Washington. Cog railway only goes to the 4, 000 foot level of Mt. Washington after November 1.“

“This place was versatile. You could eat on the veranda and take in the views of the white mountains almost 180 degrees in view. The drinks are extremely pricey for the size served. They were delish thou. If I can recommend a single thing it would have to be the clam chowder. Ask for butter not oil and ask for pepper otherwise the best clam chowder I’ve ever had. It’s on the thicker side but it’s silky smooth and not that pasty flour taste. Kesha was super friendly and everyone seemed genuinely happy to work there. It’s definitely a dinner (2-5) mealtime type of place. You get to watch the sunsets.“
