I had an absolutely fantastic bartender named Michelle, and she created some awesome martinis for me that were out of this world!! one of them was called Peanut butter cup Martini!! so delicious one of the best drinks I’ve had in a long time!! I go out a lot and I get a lot of bartenders who are grumpy and don’t really give you the time of day. Michelle is the complete opposite of that she is very accommodating and she likes to please you and making you your finest drink! With a smile on her face to boot !!🙂which is what I like when I finally have a break and want a night out!! “The first two times I was here was for lunch. Enjoy the food and the service. This time, my wife and I were staying close and decided to go for dinner. We sat and ordered, and it all seemed rushed as if it were timed. The food came really fast and wasn't as good as the lunches. We decided to split a dessert, and we sat and waited, which made it more bizarre. They did take the dessert off the bill on their own, and it was appreciated. “WOW. My husband and I were beyond impressed with Mike’s. The service was outstanding from reservation to check. The FOOD was unreal. Fresh homemade pasta and sausage/meatballs, flavorful crispy calamari and ham & fig flatbread were phenomenal. I had some gluten free options. The drinks were also fantastic! I especially loved the peach mule. Our waiter Rip was lovely. He was very busy but he treated us like we were his only guest which feels rare nowadays. The price was really reasonable compared to our usual regular Italian places (which have now been replaced by Mike’s Italian Kitchen). I highly recommend this place for great Italian food in a cozy but lively atmosphere!“

“For a quick and early Saturday dinner, I stopped by Pho Tai Loc. At 5pm, seating remained plentiful. I ordered the Pho Dac Biet ($14.95), the quintessential bowl of pho with everything in it.

The stock seemed quite flavorful. No skimping on boiling down bones. It didn't possess too much in the way of aromatics, but had copious amounts of black pepper (which I quite enjoyed). Also, the bowl came out hot enough such that adding bean sprouts did not sap the meal of heat.

The pho places in Dorchester could learn from this place. I'd rather come here than go to that overrated street and get mediocre pho that the community gaslit itself into thinking it's ok.“
