“Good service and atmosphere, overpriced
Food is mediocre at best, very unbalanced, the dishes were either too salty or drowning in cheese.
Chicken parm comes with a thick cheese layer on top which is really not adding to the dish.
Not a lot of Italian options in the area unfortunately.“

“Black Cap Grille is always our favorite dining spot when we visit N Conway. Great cocktails & delicious food with super nice wait staff. Last night the Prickly Pear Martini & Vegetarian Meatloaf with sweet potato french fries were a nice surprise on the menu & really good. Also my wife appreciated that they have mocktails. Highly Recommend!“

“Wonderful dining experience in every way! Went here with family for a 50th wedding anniversary celebration and loved every minute of it! The friendly welcoming staff, the fabulous upscale farm like decor, the well informed waitstaff and all of the artfully presented delicious appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts! “Great food and drinks. The BEST New England Haddock Chowder. Rooms at the Inn could use some updating but are clean and comfy. Only issue is if your room is on the 3rd floor you have to haul your luggage up stairs. Our room was heated with a gas wood stove which kept the room warm but very dry. We had to buy a pot to put water in and sit on the stove to help with the dryness. This is an older rustic place and very traditional to the area so keep that in mind when booking. There is no mini fridge, microwave or coffee in the room. However, coffee and tea are always available down in the restaurant for guests. Loved our stay while there and the food was delicious.“

“We made reservations here after we took the Conway Scenic Railway. We had a fantastic dinner. The hotel is charming and if we didn't always stay in Lincoln, I would be tempted to stay here. For dinner, we had clam chowder and crab cakes, I had a steak special that was fabulous, and my husband had chicken, which he never orders out. We were so stuffed that we couldn't eat desert. It was a lovely evening. Our server was great.“

“After a disappointing stop at Sea Dog Brewing company we ended up here being treated as a valued customer. That being said food and service was excellent ? and we even had dessert . Definitely would recommend if a meal os to be had. Thank you for a redeeming meal experience. There are decent restaurants out there you just have to sort them out .“
