“Matt was very welcoming and accommodating to my defeated and exhausted self. I have just moved to the area and required same day dental care an hour away from home in this little town. After an exam and bad news about my upcoming needs to fix my dental health, he made me a hot toddy in the midst of a busy evening, (I can't endure ice right now). I very much enjoyed a fabulous clam chowder and mussels appetizer. His personality lifted me up and the locals sitting next to me engaged in some great chats. Being a shade darker than anyone else, could be daunting but I was welcomed and treated very well. The food and the vibe was soothing for someone dealing with the emotionally exhausting complexities of being new to the East Coast and my dental health scare in general. This is a great place that I will be dininig at as I continue on that dental health journey. It is so worth the 1 hour drive.“

“We enjoyed our dinner. Service was good. Ambiance could be stellar if they got rid of the overhead lights! It is not a romantic or relaxing atmosphere with bright lights. The fireplace, white tablecloths and candles on the table were great.“

“went to the tavern for black mountains employee party, the food is amazing. the staff is awesome and sweet. they even had an amazing band playing. the itialian buffet was so yummy 😋“
“Absolutely the BEST OF THE BEST!!! The most accommodating for any needed stay away from home. My Husband and I fell in love all over again after our first night there. Breakfast is a pleasant experience always fresh and delicious. Entire place is white glove clean !!! So welcoming and friendly we instantly relaxed and stepped out of life to enjoy our Love and marriage. We keep coming back every time we want to peacefully connect and celebrate Us and our beautiful life we have built together“

“Disappointing visit. Service was slow between salad and entree. I ordered Veal Picatta and got Chicken. Finally the bill included by default the credit card fee while I intended to pay cash. I've been there several times before and have been with several friends and business associates. I'm sorry to say I won't consider them so quickly until they improve.“
