I just drove through Aroma Joe’s with my two dogs, and I had the nicest experience with a girl named Ria. She was professional, kind, and so sweet with my dogs — she even gave them a pup treat with whipped cream and a biscuit. They never eat that kind of thing, but they absolutely loved it!

We talked for a minute about her future, and she shared that she wants to be a cosmetologist someday. It is so inspiring to see a 16-year-old with that much direction, confidence, and genuine kindness.

Ria, keep up the good work — you’re going places. I can already tell.✨

Multiple times a day, I have to tell myself that I want to lose weight, or that my already high cholesterol will increase if I decide to treat myself to any of their high quality, delicious breads, pastries, or other goodies. More often than not I will walk in, order a large coffee from the friendly staff, and walk out without ever looking at the treats behind the glass. Fortunately, I only have to worry about this challenge three days a week, since they’re only selling their goodies on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of most weeks.
