“Best worst venue ever! Place is setup like a 1800's brothel with a stage. They cram as many of the seats (folding chairs) in there as they can. Pay $0-40 in parking depending on which side of the venue you're coming from and what spots are available. some shows have reentry while others don't (standard unstandardized practice with venues). Despite all that, I've been several times and every show was incredible! 10/10 would recommend going to the ballroom over any of the "bigger" venues in the region. Can't wait for my next visit“

“First time ever and had the most AMAZING meals, drinks and experience. Staff A+! Food, chicken, broccoli Alfredo. 10/10. Creamed lemon Haddock. 10/10!!! Drinks and bartender, Brittany A+. Chef came out to us to see how our meal was. Told him we left NOTHING on the plate, neither one of us. Not a CRUMB! I usually leave a little something to take home. I couldn’t stop eating. DELICIOUS. “Saw a great show at the Stone Church. Good ambiance, nice drink selection, the burgers look great. The sound was ok for the show, but not great. More to do with the audio than the venue. One band out of three had it dialed in. Really nice that we could attend with under 21 guests. Would return.

“I couldnt believe the outside of D Street (Daniel Street Tavern) today. It has an outside seating area (very clean and welcoming) as well as a NEW Food Menu. I couldnt believe how tasty the 1/4 pound lobster roll was (came with Coleslaw, pickle and small bag of chips) for $20. The alcohol free Bloody Mary was spicy/tasty and a good addition to the role. They have many deals on alcohol but also lots of non alcohol options (pop, juices and non alcoholic beer). Place is very clean and server VIVI is on her Game!!! So much more then a Dive Bar!!!!“

Food was above expected and they have a full menu also. Dinner for 3 with 2 drinks, 3 apps and 2 entrees with extra side just climbed over $100. Go there and be happy!“

“We hadn't been to Sea Level Newburyport for a couple of years and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the large drink selection including a full page of N/A drinks. We both ordered roasted fish entrees, which were very delicious, artful and plentiful. The food came out quickly, and our waiter was gracious and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.“

“I'm new to the area and my neighbors recommended that we try the food at the barn. We came in on a Monday night to have dinner. Our bartender Leslie was so friendly, funny and made us feel we were part of the local crowd. I can see why people come to see this bartender and have the food. This exceeded our expectations. We both had the barn burgers and a couple of beers. It was such a fun time. I would also like to comment, we came in on a Saturday day and Barry was our bartender. Again top notch service, food was excellent and Barry was very accommodating. We are customers for life.“

“I was just there tonight which is Boxing Day 2022. I am giving black cow a a 3 because I was shocked at the prices. We had 1 sushi roll,1 shrimp app and 3 drinks ..90 bucks. (Don’t forget a Jim bean rocks with 1 good cherry 14 dollars) and about 1 1/2 fingers of amaretto straight)for 11 dollars) You’re better off spending your money somewhere else.. honestly. I’m a chef and understand rising costs however this is crazy however the service was pretty solid.“
