“This summer, my experiences at The Sandbar have been nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to the incredible team of bartenders: Pavel, Scott, Curtiss, Dani, and Katy. Their dedication to providing outstanding service is truly commendable.

Despite the long hours and back-to-back shifts in sometimes very hot conditions, they always serve with a smile. Their commitment to ensuring every guest has a great time is evident in every interaction. The food is consistently hot and delicious, and the atmosphere is enhanced by their genuine care and attention. They have treated us like family .

Pavel, Scott, Curtiss, Dani, and Katy have made each visit to The Sandbar a memorable one. Their hard work and positive attitudes create an inviting and enjoyable environment that keeps us coming back. The stunning view is just the cherry on top of the fantastic service and delectable food.

“Wonderful atmosphere with live music. We made a reservation but it wasn’t busy when we arrived. Service was excellent. Friendly staff who were very attentive. Food came out at a good pace. The Crispy calamari was just incredible. Our main entree was a melody of different seafood with linguine and a marinara sauce with a genuine spicy kick to it. No room for dessert unfortunately. We split the entree and they served it in two separate dishes. Overall an excellent experience.“

“oh wow... what a find! We were looking for a seafood restaurant when passing thru the area and the name caught our attention. We had an amazing dinner! We both chose the seafood fettuccine, which was heavenly - incredible pasta and sauce topped with succulent seafood. Desserts were lavender creme brulee and white chocolate cake...Holy cow! Dinner and service were both top-notch.. and we can't wait to return!“

“This is one my favorite spots in Portsmouth. They have onsite parking which is a determinant at times. I frequent here and have never been disappointed.. The menu changes with the seasons, which keeps the choices fresh and exciting. The craft cocktails are clever and delicious. Try the Cloister! Sometimes I stop in just for a drink and a snack, but I live getting a many courses and going all out. The agnolotti seems to be a constant, and it’s a must order every visit. During the winter months, my all time favorite is the cassoulet. This has one of the best flavor profiles I’ve ever tasted. I’m not kidding. Don’t forget to order the soufflé in advance for a delectable and interactive experience. Great service, food and atmosphere. You can’t go wrong here.“

“The location in Stratham, NH, has been my “go to” several times a week since their opening. I live nearby, and can’t help but indulge in the convenience of the location, not only for the great food (top-notch menu and preparation), friendly atmosphere (regular patrons who easily come to feel like family), and a staff that has made me feel like this is my “home away from home”. Special shout out to John, the best, most efficient and attentive bartender that I’ve known in all my years of dining out. And, without a doubt, I must add that Jess is also most delightful in every way. The management, host staff, and endearing wait staff (you know who you are) have made every moment I’ve enjoyed at the 110 Grill in Stratham the best of times. What more can I say? Drop in, often! “Great service, we were met with a smile at the door. Had a fabulous meal! One of our party has to eat gluten free due to her food allergy. The staff was knowledgeable and quick to answer any questions. Not only did I feel safe about no cross contamination, the gluten free food was fantastic! We had Appetizers, entrée and dessert. (The Gluten free Beignets were out of this world) Please make them a permanent item on the menu! Good portions, even left with boxes of leftovers. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back! “Fun atmosphere, fantastic service, the food leaves a lot to be desired, but you are probably not going here for the food, this is a great place for drinks and atmosphere.

The menu is a bit confusing but it’s nice you can make your own taco creations. I decided to go with the El Pastor bowl and some queso.

Not sure I would go back but if you are visiting Portsmouth looking for a fun place to hang out, I would recommend a visit.“
