“I have not a had a sub in a long time. I was craving a steak and cheese with onion and ordered one to be delivered. The order was placed online without an issue, arrived on time and was so hot like if I was there at the restaurant. The sub itself was the best one I ever had so fresh the steak was so good not dry or fatty, onions cooked perfectly and enough cheese. I could never eat a whole sub and it was that good I ate my first whole sub.“

“I'm in town visiting from Philadelphia. In Philly all we have is cheesesteaks and the occasional riot after winning a sports championship. So I wanted to try something different and a little less felonious and while my host was out at work, I walked over to Kinsley House of Pizza. I went to order a tuna sub but they were out of tuna. No big deal, that's not unheard of in the restaurant industry, and I get it. But I also don't eat meat or poultry, and I didn't want to order an entire pizza to myself, so what to do? This is where the gentleman waiting on me went into what I like to call "helpful salesperson mode". And I know what you're thinking--am I buying a car or just trying to order food? No, I'm definitely not buying a car. I want to be clear on that. No cars were harmed during the writing of this post. Not even if it was a car made out of pizza and breadsticks, though that is a pretty cool idea and I think it needs to happen. So anyway, wasn't purchasing a car, and back to the "helpful salesperson" comment--the gentleman behind the counter mentioned that they had "fake chicken" and I could get a fake chicken sub if I wanted. Well I never had a chicken sub let alone one made from fake chicken, so I decided to try that. That was not a good idea, that was a GREAT idea! Absolute banger of a sub, and I can't wait until I'm back in town so I can try the pizza next. ...but a car made out of pizza is also not off the table. Because life is short, and it's important to have goals, especially if they involve pizza.“

“Beautiful atmosphere, perfect for date night, ladies night out or special occasions as it's not too noisy. I have also come here for work luncheons many times, it's suitable for various occasions. They start with a perfectly flavored scarpetta, the bread is warm and the oil is perfectly flavored. The drink menu is extensive, and the bar does a great job. The calamari app is prepared in the Italian style, and it tastes fresh. The main courses are average size, delicious and beautifully presented. First, the restaurant was very busy while we were there and it was clear they were understaffed. I saw three people working the floor. One out front doing take out, one running the bar and one waiter working the floor. To top it off, there was a birthday party with about a dozen guests. Our waiter was outstanding. Taking orders, making drinks, bussing the tables, he handled the stress unbelievably well and was pleasant and funny. Our food was delicious and came out piping hot. None of them missed a step. We got the family pack of chicken stix and the amount of food is overwhelming, in a good way lol I’m super picky about my chicken and this is so good. We got it with JoJo potatoes and I’ll never be able to enjoy a regular french fry again. The pack also came with a hefty portion of coleslaw, which was very tasty. New review of 5 stars as of 5/29/26 - there is an employee here who is kind and doesn't mind my asking for what I want.
I get what I order when I speak directly with people in the restaurant. I ask to truly get extra cheese because I ordered it and unless I ask directly I get skimpy cheese. I also ask if they can possibly tak6for the pizza out 30 seconds to a minute early. It seems to be normal at a lot of places now to burn the crust (IMHO) before saying a pizza is ready.

The gentleman who helped me completely understood and promised to make me happy. He did! Pasta, pizza (extra cheese and sausage) and wings are all delicious and fully cooked without being burnt. I don't want to be a pain, and I know staff have to work quickly and stay focused, but responding to my requests which took 30 seconds or less, got me what I paid for and made me decide to eat here again.

Pizza was fresh, had a good amount if toppings and was done quickly. I picked it up and while there was only one person in the store at the time, he greeted me immediately and let me know he would just be a minute. I could see he was making a pizza. He was fast, kind, professional. The experience exceeded my expectations.

Update from a visit a week or so ago:

The guy in charge was incredibly helpful with the coupons and very professional. This time the the food was even better than the previous review. A while ago we had a 3 topping pizza without much cheese. One of the 3 toppings was extra cheese, so it was a bummer. I mentioned it this time and he guaranteed it would be done right. It was! The wings were not overdone, they were perfect! I highly recommend this location!

Jan 2024:

What is the issue with cheese? I ordered extra cheese and Italian sausage on a medium hand tossed pizza . Many places on the pizza had no cheese: the middle, near the crust edge, and other random places on the pizza.

I took a picture and hoped to tell manager one day. I didn't think one was there the next time I went which was by mistake only a few days later. I ordered online and thought I was ordering at a different location, but by accident I ordered from here. I ordered a large hand tossed pizza with extra cheese and sausage and at least there were no places without cheese, but it did not seem like extra cheese.

I like a good deal, my husband likes the wings, and family likes the garlic flavor of pizza. But most of all I i like cheese and I like getting what I ordered, especially if I paid extra for it.

Please do better!

Also a young staff member laughed when I checked my pizza before leaving the second recent visit. I explained That my pizza did not have enough cheese and a few pieces had barely any. We split it (along with wings,) between 3 people. Not ok when you only get 2-3 small pieces with bald spots when you wanted and paid for extra cheese. The staff member laughed.“

“Yes, they are in a shopping strip, and are next to a Shaw's Supermarket. Odd locations, and you would never guess that this is quite excellent tuscan style italian, and one of the best in the area. I rate it above Giorgio's which many would probably also argue for.“

We loved this place. When it changed hands we stopped ordering, was not good. I think they needed time, as expected. Second time ordering since new owners. Update the site with current info. Let ppl know its under new ownership. Shows better. Its not italian but Indian ownership. With that being said, delicious. Glad I gave it a second chance. We waited ample time. Not greasy, lots of toppings, full of flavor! Amazing. Im glad we tried again. We will be ordering again! We love Suppas but this is equal for sure. So happy!“
